Well, not really, we were always going to have to sign full backs this summer, with Wallace, odebajo and McCullum gone. It's probably the opposite - he can get the players he think will work there, and we don't have to worry about getting rid of anyone.

Very harsh. Gerrard gets all the front of house stuff, including recruitment and media. But leaves most of the day to day training to trusted coaches. I'm sure he'd be present at training sessions and putting in his two pence worth.
