If they were playing out the back I'd shut the windows, lock the doors and close the blinds/curtains.

Past their best Steve.

Great in their time though

I always liked the Manics and will never get over the disappointment of them being bottled off stage at the Heineken festival around 94

People queued for 11 hours! Glad it was worth it.

Tonights event is ticketed with profits going to NHS Wales charities.

I like the first Stereophonics LP and the odd song,
But they really are a bland and uninspiring group. Manics are always interesting, even weaker records like Life Blood. Always a great band live and back at Number One in the album charts.

Black dog has to be one of my favourite tracks from one of my favourite LPs

I liked the first two phonics albums but everything since is very samey.

The manics seem to have evolved over time and are consistently excellent, apparently their current album was written for piano. James Dean Bradfield is a brilliant musician.

Don't understand that we walked straight in but perhaps they wanted to be right at the front

He is. Forest fan too!

Would highly recommend the documentary 'Escape from History' which covers from the end of the 'Holy Bible" tour through the disappearance of Richey Edwards to the the making and eventual success of "Everything must go". Quite emotional

If you don't mind me asking, what time did it finish?

Deciding whether to get the train or take the car.
