Well for the first time in about 30 years the wife has punched me in the face, she suffers from anxiety and depression , I'm quite hurt, bang punch for no reason, she really is going over the top, and worrying, she just said your food is in the microwave now, fck me, could you imagine hitting a woman and saying that!! I really felt like leaving her earlier on.

Shee-it. How upsetting. I'm awfully sorry to hear that, man. Presumably the impending easing of lockdown is going to increase her anxiety, but hopefully in time she'll adjust. At least until the next spike.

... yes they are aware of the limitations and it is curious that you use a an included Brazilian study to undermine this yet you were VERY supportive of the most ridiculed HCQ "report" by that mad frenchman. I will also point out that even though I know nothing of the Brazilian study they state that this study was a double-blind study - which are the gold standard type of study.
As to the addition of zinc, vitamin C, etc at what point will you give up moving from one miraculous additive to Azithromycin in the attempt to promote this unsuitable "cure" for Covid 19?.
Additionally we both know that anecdotal "evidence" is seriously flawed and possibly worthless - doubly so if it comes from a politician.

That seems a sensible approach. Cytokine storms are difficult . Approaches using antibodies to pro-inflammatory cytokines to bock their action have been less than successful overall (for any condition). Still a supportive therapy though-not a cure. Vaccine is still the best bet. | | | |

A nurse friend has had it, beaten it and gone back to work. A friend of my wife sadly succumbed to it, she was NHS too. A couple of neighbours think they've had it. There's not been very many cases (suspected or confirmed) close to us. | |

We lost a colleague at work, front line. I don't know him but it's obviously hit those who did. Another colleague has lost 3 family members and one of my team lost someone this week.
But closer to home no deaths, thankfully. Brother in law and his Mrs think they had it (bedridden and antibiotics, but not hospitalised so not tested) and recovered. Both in their 30s, 2 small kids to look after but struggled on without going to Durham. | | | |
