First half, after that good start we played too far apart, depended on long passes, did not support the man with the ball and were rarely in position to pick up loose balls. Second half we were much more mobile, closer together and more dynamic in using the space. Borja and McB played well together and individually. Atalanta made changes in 2nd half but so what? We played some nice stuff, OMB and Nathan looked good. MVDH gave the ball away cheaply a few times in areas where we should have been punished. Baston got into it winning some ball in the air but should have gone and scored himself he was lucky, made some good runs though. If we defend set pieces and our GK commands his box we look like we could be in with a chance. Aslong as we dont lose anyone that is!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |  | | |

Just got back.
First half we were crap. McBurnie was the only positive. Atalanta were very good, men against boys.
Second half, improved massively, especially with Baston coming on. Bidwell looks very good to me.
Deserved to win overall, especially seeing as we were playing the ref too.

When we went long and played it in the air to him he won quite a few flick ons against a very physical centre half. Even when he didn't the centre half never got a clean head on the ball so it was going all over the place, waiting for Fulton to hoover it up. Very good performance . | |
