The proposed loan of Fede 19:49 - Jul 23 with 19560 views | oldcob | to Newcastle. Am I the only one who sees no sense in this? Newcastle gain, they get an experienced Premiership International centre back. Fede gains he's playing the standard of football he wishes. Apart from saving Fede's wages, what are Swansea City getting out of this? I can't see anything. Why would we agree to this? [Post edited 23 Jul 2018 20:01]

The scary thing is - that concept probably isn’t that far from being reality in his own mind.

He may even then post a link to his search on here if we are lucky. That seems to be his latest hobby.

The proposed loan of Fede on 13:48 - Jul 26 with 2217 views | omarjack | I know this thread stopped being about Fede 7 pages ago but.. With Newcastle landing Fabian Schar. It's looking like they might have pulled the plug on their interest in Fernandez.

You'd think so, they probably offered a loan where we said no thanks you give us 6M instead, but they went and spent 3M for someone else, just hope that Russian team don't get him, he'd be a big boost for us if he stayed.

Hope so. Is he still with the tour, as I heard he’d left? This wasn’t from a reliable source though -just the missus, as she stalks them all on social media the daft bint.

I think he's slightly injured. Just like Llorente being injured around this time last season.. The second he hears Benitez's ringtone he'll run to Newcastle on foot.

Let him go. Anyone else who failed so miserably to halt our pitiful relegation can f*ck off with him.

Well I don’t think he should go on loan anywhere. Clubs will work out how poor he actually is on the ball, poor positioning, lack of pace then we will end with another one running his contract down on inflated wages. If he wants to go sell him to highest bidder, not that I see many wanting him. He will be found out in the Championship

The proposed loan of Fede on 14:05 - Aug 2 with 1531 views | 34dfgdf54 | Fede is in Potters plans according to todays press conference. Also, in terms of this discussion.. Interesting quote, yet again off Potter: "The owners have not said to be we have to be back up in May, there have been two or three years of short-term thinking. It’s understandable, but they realise there is an opportunity for us to go forward and use that experience to get better. This is the start."

Then why are we in for McKenna? Fernandez, VDH and Amat are a superb CB line up for the championship. And I doubt McKenna is meant to be as a 4th choice. Anyway if Fede stays I'll be very, very satisfied.

Southampton signed quite a few good signings. Newcastle were looking at Fede but only a loan deal..we told them to f*ck off.

He didn't say he expects Fede to stay, only that he's training well and in the squad for the weekend.

Once again and no matter how bad it seems it is clear we are in a much stronger position than Cardiff.
