I didn't really know anything about him prior to his arrival. But I have to admit I was somehow enthusiastic about him after hearing more about his records with Las Palmas. But I was wrong. And many were too and there is no shame in saying so.
I would even say Huw and his team get a pass for Mesa's situation. Sometimes things don't work out even if they look good on paper.
It was somehow an ambitious signing that simply didn't work out. The end of. Let's hope the club recoups at least 7 m for him and not let Sevilla lowball his fee. |  |
