I am guessing that the owners/HJ were waiting to see how things planned out in the relegation scrap before committing.

We were fortunate to see him play for Poland v Germany in Paris during Euro 2016. He made some top class saves in a 0-0 and it highly amused the Poles when me and my son sang 'we've got the big Pole in our goal ' song.

I think the rousing reception he got during the last game against Stoke said all that needed to be said about our affection and appreciation for a top class keeper who ALWAYS gave his ALL for our football club.....

I dread to think how the PL table would look if we didn’t have Fab in Goal last season he was constantly in the firing line and kept making great saves time after time.

I truly wish him well wherever he goes (apart from the Scum of course) he’s still got a few more seasons left yet despite his age just look at Buffon...

Thank you Fab, great times, great memories, all the best for the future ....

And when you get tw@ts like Jenkins saying we were sold to take us to another level.
Then Dineen comes on stating the club is skint after banking millions for years of incompetence what do you expect.
That is far more damaging than a thread about a keeper who is leaving us.

Fair point on his contract, but People will always talk about things on forums concerning any football club, with both positive and negative threads/posts.
I was disappointed to hear a rumour that he could be going for 4mill, I think he's worth more.
Could be there's little or nothing in this though, except that he is probably likely to go which is disappointing in itself.

But yes overall, you're probably right in looking forward with some positivity towards the battle for promotion.

Dineen should be nowhere near the club.
Never mind giving interviews should have been Pearlman or Jenkins.
Now we are employing a DOF alongside Pearlman and Jenkins.
How can this be justified.

Anyway looking forward to seeing Potter appointed and some positive vibes coming out of the club.
