Most people who post that are anything but.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Van der Hoorn on 17:16 - Aug 26 by Flashberryjack | He did have Mawson and Fernandez by his side mind, and we were playing Palace. Great news, if as you say he had a good game, well done to the lad. And you're right "Nobody has said he's the next John f*cking Terry " |
Palace did manage to score 5 goals in two games against us last season.

West Ham are heading down at this rate they're awful.

I'd like to see them go down, but they've got too much genuine quality to go IMO. They'll probably sack Billic and the new chap will get them going again.

Better "too good to go down" sides than theirs have done just that before. I've got my fingers crossed.

Van der Hoorn on 20:37 - Aug 26 with 1605 views | TheKirkyLife | I was terrified when the team came in. Honestly I ended up being more scared when he was subbed off for Routledge. Fabulous game today, so pleased for him.

Echo my thoughts exactly mate ...pleasantly surprised with his performance and that tackle he made denied a certain goal 👠

Another one that can't/won't read. I was only commenting about the one game, as that is what the OP asked. He had a good game today. If you're really paying attention, you'd notice that I wrote on another thread that we should not be relying on him (or Bartley) as regular starters. Regardless of today. Ffs

VdH, like Naughton, Fernandez and Mawson have all improved on Clements watch. Thought our midfield played very well too, with Clucas outstanding. Abraham took his chance brilliantly and Ayew worked hard. With Britton, Ki, Mesa also available, and Llorente and perhaps Bony as well soon to be options, I am far, far happier than 12 months ago.
Van der Hoorn on 08:58 - Aug 27 with 1325 views | awayjack | Decent game against a woeful CP team. I wouldn't be crowing just yet, but assuming we don't signs other CB, let's see how he does with a run of games. His performances last season we're way below standard. Some down to Bob but coach can't be blamed for 3-4 basic errors per game and compete lack of control of he ball. I'm still not convinced but be delighted if he steps up and delivers.
