Fwiw its totally fair that this is disclosed.
At the end of the day, public funds are being used as payment for large salaries. I hope (im not sure if its the case) that this rule of disclosure applies to other members of the BBC in the back office, plus any other prominent civil servant earning over a certain amount (for me the baseline should be 500k anyway)
FS Corporates already have to disclose those employees earning over £1m and they are private entities. The kicker being here they dont release names |  |

Youre right, i had a look and there arent really. Top earners sit mainly between 200-300k. There are a couple which are double that, but that looks like mainly project work such as HS2 so is probably outsourced and cross funded from elsewhere | |
