Nigel Farage - Foreign Agent on 13:32 - Jun 1 by nadera78 | The Eurosceptics never shut up, did they? No, they spent 40 years c*nting on about it, despite losing a referendum. So now I'm going to do the same. Everything I don't like I'm going to blame on Brexit and I'm going to ram it down the throat of every lying scrote who led us to this point. As to Farage - is anyone surprised? He was a Nazi as a teenager and now he's cuddling up to a fascist like Putin. Got a nice few quid out of it too, and from the EU (£6,000 a month pension coming his way in 2019). |
The first paragraph is exactly how I see it. It's bad. Really bad! and there is no way I am gonna say 'fair enough' and accept the will of (half) the people.

Nigel Farage - Foreign Agent on 15:24 - Jun 1 by JamesB1979 | The majority of remainers have accepted the result and I believe the majority of the leavers would have accepted the result the other way. There was so much information out there on brexit that you did not need to listen to the politicians. People expect to be spoon fed these days. If some people did't understand what to do (and that seems to be the case), go and do some research on the internet and make an informed view. |
"The majority of remainers have accepted the result" What makes you say this? Do you have so access to some stats? Edit: and can't find any polls on line I have no scientific idea among the group as a whole, but anecdotally, most people I speak to from the remain camp still think it's a very bad idea. I'm genuinely interested, what do you actually know that makes you say it? [Post edited 1 Jun 2017 16:35]

No my assumption is that the majority of us support democracy, so majority of both camps should support the result. No excuses for lies on both sides. And I was/am in the remain camp.

Nigel Farage - Foreign Agent on 13:22 - Jun 1 by JacksDad | But surely if a decision that will effect Everyone's lives was based on a series of lies from both sides then surely it should be null and void and not "the Voice of the People". If I bought a car from a dealer because "it will never run out of petrol" and then it does, surely it is just that I would have some sort of restitution. |
As the saying goes 'how do you know a politician is lying ?? Their lips are moving'

Remembering this stuff is crucial. Is it not newsworthy this man is a person of interest in the FBI Russia investigation? [Post edited 1 Jun 2017 13:12]

One usually has to have children to produce future generations. It would appear many have dispensed with this idea and found it cheaper and more convenient to import their workforce.

The US today would probably be comparable to Canada in population and size of economy had it not done exactly that...including your good self, of course. Conversely, Russia has a serious depopulation problem and is in desperate need of immigration. Of course, for some odd reason prople don't really want to emigrate to Russia, so they have to annex bits of other countries instead.

Without wanting to start World War III, it is a bit weird how many ex-pats on here and in general have such very strong opinions about immigration to Britain.

I think it was Samuel Johnson who said of one group of patriots: 'They sing about loving their country but not, of course, to the extent of actually living there'.
