Honestly some of the bullshit on here is incredible, Warnock was not forced out, if he hadn't spent so long trying to get Ferdinands job and just said he could do the job till the end of the season rather than only for a few weeks he'd have got it till the end of the season and given the club time to find who they wanted. Ferdinand and Warnock have both said the same thing several times since.

Fernandes did want Clement but when he said no and when Sherwood asked for too much money he went with Ramsey as fans were in his ear on twitter about wanting a coach and several players told him to give the job to Ramsey so it wasn't all down to Ferdinand that one, I do think they should have looked elsewhere that summer but as Clement had made it clear he was going to Derby they panicked and gave it to Ramsey full time |
The bit i dont get though is , if TF wanted Clement, would he want Clement to shift out all the high earners and bring in L1 players and bring through youth? If he did then perhaps thats why Clement and probably other managers didnt want to take the job.
