Derby Match thread on 14:48 - Dec 14 with 2974 views | qprphil | I feel in a confident mood, QPR to score 2 goals, however Derby will get 4. If we can scrape any sort of win from this game, I can see us going on a nice little run. For me that horrible "R " word keeps coming into my head.

Roger? Rhubarb? Ready? I'm sure many QPR fans still have nightmares about him. C'mon man, don't keep us guessing.

Derby Match thread on 16:23 - Dec 14 with 2844 views | THEBUSH | Can't see us winning tonight, hope i'm very wrong, but it seems Holloway is having a hard time getting his ideas through to the players, as he's said as much. He's also having difficulties in knowing what his best formation/team is, so don't think we're gonna see a decent improvement in our play for at least a month or more. [Post edited 14 Dec 2016 16:39]

Yeni and Chery behind Washington with Cousins and Luongo behind. 3421. Or something. Gob bummery chances - 72% and rising.

Derby Match thread on 19:15 - Dec 14 with 2123 views | macclesfieldman | Perch, Washington and Onohou should not get near the team, whilst the Poles, Shodipo and Syla should be in the starting 11. I can only see a comfortable win for Derby but hope I'm very wrong.

3-5-2 maybe Smithies Ned Hall Lynch Perch Cousins Luongo Chery Bidwell Wash Ngbakoto??

You can call it 352, but let's be honest, it'll be 532. Big difference. Our supposed wing backs are full backs by trade. We are playing 5 defenders and no wingers. Hall will probably push up into midfield in possession to make this 3421 shape, but, again, looks like no width. At Rotherham I was convinced Holloway was instructing them to play narrow and NOT get wide. With this line up, I think I was right. I really hope it works. I really hope Perch and Bidwell do bomb on. But I am worried by this team. It should be very easy for any organised team to defend an opposition attacking them down the middle. Good bench, mind!!

I was thinking 3-5-2 as well but Ngbakoto's the one who confuses me. Isn't he meant to be a wide man?

I'm not sure he has a natural position. One of these inverted winger/no 10/forward type players. He's not a winger in the true old fashioned sense.

Ngbakoto is shown as a striker on the Offy website but who knows. Agree that it could be 5-3-2 but think we need to try to crowd out Derby in midfield
