In the lower parts, upper parts have full areas empty

Remember the old Molyneux ground. Miles from the edge of the pitch on the one side.

They may earn a lot more revenue here, but having the fans that far from the pitch is going to sterilise the atmosphere a treat. Won't be anywhere near as intimidating as Upton Park and will probably be an easier ground for away teams.

Yeah do remember the old Molyneux. Also... That South Bank terrace behind the goals that had 24,000 capacity and was said to hold as much as 30,000. Watched Toshacks team on it during the 80's what character the old-style grounds had!

Believe the capacity is only 54000 due to persistent standing .... 6k seats still unused

And Charlton's old ground. Like a Roman amphitheatre.

There's one empty right behind the Bournemouth goal as well. White seat, two caucasian males in blue t-shirts (one in sun glasses) sitting either side.

Still boils my piss that WHU were pretty much handed a stadium paid for by the country's taxpayers.

And they wouldn't even let little old Leyton Orient groundshare. How's that for maximising a return on the stadium for the government?

Very impressive. I've been there with no one on that bank and it was like a huge wall.

I can see this game going the same way as ours yesterday.

WHU having problems penetrating their defence. B'mouth will get a breakaway goal.

Now that I've said it of course, nailed on Hammers win.

Watching this game on an American station, and also our game yesterday in mind, its not doing the promotion of football any good worldwide is it. Quite boring imo.

No reason why we can't do that with Llorente on the end of it, is there? We just never seem to have the space either to get the cross in or in the box because we've dilly dallied giving the defence time to organise themselves.

That depends on whether or not the Defence leaves the Penalty Area or not.
If they don't the space is never there.
This of course means we are now down to joint 11/12th with Pool.

We couldn't cross the road yesterday, not one decent ball went in with pace for him to attack and bury.
