Grego-Cox in pace shocker 20:51 - May 16 with 3446 views | bosh67 | Big shout out for the kid. 18 years old and scared the living sh*t out of the Newcastle back four second half. How long have we been crying out for a player with genuine pace? He's raw but what he did so well was run channels, taking defenders with him. He outpaced everyone with some ease and he finally allowed Fer and Austin to play. Hammersmith boy. Mad QPR fan. Brilliant. That's what our club is all about. I can see him scaring the living daylights out of teams next season.

Grego-Cox in pace shocker on 20:59 - May 16 with 3363 views | terryb | He was full of energy & that made all the difference to us in the second half. Hopefully he will start next week. Furlong & Doughty starting would be nice too!

Yep changed the game for me , very raw and needs a better first touch but still a better option than Zamora , good luck to the lad
| And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

Grego-Cox in pace shocker on 21:18 - May 16 with 3247 views | Petros | But you can totally understand why the superior guile and footballing intelligence of Hoilett and SWP have been preferred to Grego-Cox's callow promise all season. May he continue to learn from their astute sense of movement, calmness in front of goal and general dynamism. He could be some player!

I noticed that too. Several times there were shades of Helguson. He's about 5 foot 7 but has a two foot jump on him. He out jumped several players seven inches taller than him more than once to win headers.

Grego-Cox in pace shocker on 21:37 - May 16 with 3144 views | rsonist | Shame we didn't see a bit more of him when we still had something to play for in retrospect. The lad may not be near ready yet but we could have at least done with someone making a nuisance of themselves and setting the tone Mackie-style.

He needs to learn how to bend his runs to stay onside but he was only just off that time today. It'll come quickly.

Not really. Our game influences nothing with us down and Leicester safe.

My first proper girlfriend was from Bedfont. Just saying like. Back to GC ... Plus points 1/ has pace 2/ gave us another dimension when he came on Minus points 1/ needs to bulk up a bit... Would really help his game 2/ first touch needs improving
Grego-Cox in pace shocker on 08:11 - May 17 with 2255 views | CHUBBS | Lets not go overboard about this lad,yes he looked pacy when he came on but he clearly has a lot to learn. Compared to toilet he was awesome but a corpse would have been an improvement on him. Good changes by Ramsey at ht but you have to question that starting line up. Newcastle played into our hands 2nd half by over commiting to attack which gave us space to run into we wouldn't normally have. We took advantage but those two teams would struggle in the championship on that performance.
Grego-Cox in pace shocker on 08:25 - May 17 with 2209 views | superhoop67 | if he is that promising/good we will send him to Barnet on a season long loan and get some 30 odd arthritic winger to take his place
Grego-Cox in pace shocker on 08:30 - May 17 with 2192 views | sexton | Ran around a lot and that in itself is something of a novelty. Would like to see him in front of goal one-on-one against the keeper. I accept the chances of that happening are currently slim.

Except he's a striker so isn't competing for those players positions
Grego-Cox in pace shocker on 10:27 - May 17 with 1975 views | Neil_SI | He did very well, but he's still raw and will need time to adapt, especially physically. What it proves is that any pace whatsoever would help stretch the opposition and allow our creative players to get involved and play. Something we've lacked for the best part of two-years and you realise quickly when you see things like this, that players with legs and energy (like Jamie Mackie) would have made a big difference. I thought Alex McCarthy's kicking was a real factor for us, as he was able to drop the ball right into the danger area where Charlie Austin lurked, and if it fell to a second ball, we were often then challenging in two v two or three v three scenarios and looked far more threatening as a result. These small details can a big difference, and in the Championship, that's certainly an approach that's prominent in that division and one we should look to work on and exploit.
Grego-Cox in pace shocker on 10:30 - May 17 with 1963 views | stevec | Didn't think he looked too comfortable in possession when challenged. Thought Bruno Andrade looked more the part, a while back, but he seems to have gone off the radar.

I thought his kicking under pressure was terrible! But I put that down to nerves of being dropped into a game without warning.
