Remember the old half time scoreboard at the Vetch at the East Bank end ?

A guy on a ladder putting up boards with the scores on and looking in the match programme for the corresponding match ABCDE etc .............

Also, anyone remember the Sheff Wednesday game at the Vetch when Wednesday fans were 'banned' from away games but then hundreds appeared from nowhere in the Double Decker singing all game our stewards were clueless but all harmless fun ............great times !!!!!

That match A B C thing was common to many grounds back in those days.

If you hadn't bought a programme you wondered who was three up away from home and hoped it wasn't Cardiff.

I think the first ever penalty shoot out was in the Watney cup.

Half the time we did not bother putting the scores up

The football league review was a good magazine in the program enjoyed that.

The watney cup was a pre-season tournament where the two top scorers in each league who had not won anything played a friendly cup they also experimented with different rules on off side.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

One thing I remember about Fiona Richmond was that she drove a blue Mini with the classic registration number FU2.

Oh, and I remember the ABCDE half time scores too.

I remember the Patrick Cup Final at The Vetch, we lost it 5-0 to Southampton, it was only us and Southampton in the competition, so there was no qualifying or earlier rounds.... Straight to the final! Keegan & Gilo had a photo together in the centre circle before the game, because at the time Gilo was being talked about as the new Keegan, and both had the same haircut.
