I went for better. As an eternal pessimist, I assumed we'd be comfortably stuck in the bottom 3 simply because we are QPR and we wont do anything the easy way. That said, its a pretty close run thing anyway so I'm sure we'll still do it the hard way.

But it's only marginally better given that 15th and 19th are only two points apart.....

That's true, but I guess 15th and 12th are only 3 points apart, so we're in a much better position than we were last time out.

Same as, I didn't know where the points were going to come from. Now I just don't know where the REST of the points are gonna come from!

Can't see us finishing 15th come the seasons conclusion, but I'd be delighted if we did. Guess it's a case of wait and see.

But league position isn't necessarily the only thing that succeeds expectations. We went up a place on Sunday even though we were dogshit.

I expected us to be about the same, but I also expected us to be a lot better than we have been given the players we have and the perception that we 'learnt lessons' from last time.

Worse for me, I though the carcase of the squad from last year with additions would suffice in securing an slightly higher points tally. That was my pre season expectation.

Once the transfer window closed I would not have been the least bit surprised if we were below Leicester at this point.

Maybe I should average out and change my vote to the same!
