1st time starting a match day thread. Looking forward to the game later. Was there for the 3 - 1 win but also for the 3 - 0 Boxing Day defeat a year later.
I fancy a draw today

Just setting out from Brighton with my son and not at all hopeful; have to admit I did suggest we could give it a miss but he was adamant that we should go!
Irrepressible youth!

Leicester, Hull, Palace, WBA, VILLA all losing. The trouble is we don't play (and lose) until later.

I am going with Mrs FB but can't remember being less optimistic about a match. Our best hope today is for a massive snowstorm and match abandoned. We could then play it later and not have the distraction of a home game 48 hours later.
Aside from that I think our best hope is a 352 with Green: Onuoha, Rio, Caulker,: Isla, Barton, Mutch, Henry, Traore: Vargas, Austin. This keeps Hill, Dunne and BZ and Fer for the Palace game. BZ, Fer, Hoilett could come on late if we are only one or two down.
I would expect Barton and Henry to sit deep and cover the wing backs who need to push on and keep their wide players deep. Mutch to work hard and be where needed. (everywhere).
Think we have to try and take the game to them early on but the big risk is their counters.
Looks like Arry read yr post- that's the team!

Wow! I would not be brave enuff to write that. So hats off to you? I hope Jordan does well. Note he is playing in Barton's spot. Could he be able to push Barton? He will have to cover a lot of ground.
