Ki on 21:55 - Jun 26 with 2955 views | stidjack | Good player is our Ki. Useful player for us next season. Think he can play anywhere down the spine of the team. Needs a goal.
| yeah well you know that's just like your opinion man. |

Ki on 21:56 - Jun 26 with 2948 views | icecoldjack | Problwm with Ki is that he always does alright, not great, not poor just does alright. Once he learns to shoot into the corners and not straight to the keeper he will be fine! He is a steady eddy and nothing else.
Ki on 22:04 - Jun 26 with 2898 views | longlostjack | He's obviously got talent and could be a great player but needs a bit more fight, a bit more Shelvey in him.

Ki on 22:09 - Jun 26 with 2879 views | Tom1912 | The main problem with Ki is he's not as good as De Guzman, so really we want to move him on and use the cash to fund the De Guzman transfer.
Ki on 22:11 - Jun 26 with 2870 views | somersetsimon | Very neat and tidy. Keeps the play moving. If he's got any future with us it's probably as a Leon replacement. My only doubt would be that he tends to go missing when we are under pressure.
Ki on 22:12 - Jun 26 with 2865 views | stidjack | He's played two cracking cross field passes this half. Looks confident and may come back a different player. Plus Monk obviously likes him.

Arguably the best player on the pitch tonight. I know we've only seen a few games, but I think Ki looks more comfortable at this level than de Guzman. I'd take him back if he plays like this!

Got to disagree with you there ,delivers a better set piece than deguzman works harder than deguzman and also tracks back and tackles which deguzman really lacks in with ball at feet is the same as deguzman neat and tidy both classy players ki better in front of back four deguzman better just behind forward line
Ki on 22:41 - Jun 26 with 2718 views | JackFish | He needs to stop shooting whenever he gets within 25 yards of their goal.
Ki on 22:47 - Jun 26 with 2687 views | JackFish | Although it doesn't help when the rest of the team are bloody awful.

Completely disagree that Ki works harder. De Guzman covers a huge amount of ground during a game, and does a lot off the ball. Ki does too although the way his effort dropped in his first season here was alarming. Both are poor at tackling though. Ki's close control is better, wouldn't argue with that but De Guzman has far better end product and is far more likely to score or set up a goal, making him a more effective member of the midfield overall.

Seemed to show that tonight to be fair, played without fear which he didn't do often enough for us, but he's a good player who could become a great player, over to you Ki Sung Yueng. Very good game of footie though, pity the Koreans didn't have it in the last third as they could have won that game well if they had.

Agree with that. De Guzman is a more effective attacking player. Ki is better sitting back and keeping the play moving (his pass completion rate in the tournament is 95%). Just needs to tackle and track back a bit more and he'd be a better option than Canas.

Deguzman always more likely to score as given free reign to push forward as I've more or less said ki on the other hand when playing for us is told to sit in front of back four and break up play and keep possession and the ball moving he's even been used a few times as centre half so is very unlikely to score many

I don't think we need to sell anyone, to fund the transfers we need this summer.

Lets play him and see, we could be saying that he's first name on team sheet if he feels there is belief in him.
