Plus injuries to Green , Simpson, Traore , Jenas , Austin , Faurlin, Johnson, Phillips, Akotto, Doyle

Fitness doubts in Morrison , Hill,

Goalkeeper making his first league start .

I think we just need to keep going , no other team could sustain a challenge against all that

Derby are just 3 goals better off than us , I wonder it they are giving it up .

Easy to kick Redknapp especially if you dont really like him .

To be fair I think that the team we have missing would probabaly finish top three.

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

like the positive spin but the hope will kill you !!

half the teams in this league could only dream of having some of the players we had playing tonight. Even with our injuries you would think someone would step up and claim a place in the team.

as for the 10 men, i think if another 3 or 4 players walked off whith dunne i dont think we could have played any worse.

I accept that we've had some shocking bad luck with injuries, but we're still fielding a team that's theoretically full of quality and they should have more fight and more creativity.

I think that even at the start of the season we didn't look right; when we beat Bournemouth 3-0 I still didn't think we looked sure of ourselves; we won games by luck like away at Yeovil; even at home against them we got lucky having p*ssed about for the first 25 minutes.

Harry's not built a team that can play no matter which players he's had, and it's clear to me that there's little or no guts to us at the moment and there hasn't been for a long time. Yeovil managed a draw against Reading down to 8 men didn't they? They fought out a 3-3 draw tonight against Wigan........ now they've got bottle.

What have we got?

p.s I feel for Murphy tonight.......... and as always Hill.

‘morbid curiosity about where this is all going’

4 wins and one draw will be enough for the play offs, we just need to hang in there and hope the better players come back by then.

The injury list is horrific, no team could have handled this but somehow we are still joint 3rd.

I guess the real fear for most of us is the thought of going up.

If it had been the other way round QPR would have scraped a 0-0.

Quite why some on here are still claiming we have quality players other teams would kill for is beyond me. Leicester, Derby, Forest, Burnley and Wigan would not go near some of our squad with a barge pole.

The likes of SWP, Zamora, Johnson, Jenas, O' Neill, Dunne, Benayoun and Niko haven't performed to a high level consistently for many years now. They are all either too old, injury prone or beyond caring. It should come as no surprise that they are not delivering the goods for QPR.

Are you going to pay him off?

Harry has a lot to answer for but another manager will not get these mercenaries going. We need a clear out of management and players. Unfortunately the players are here to stay until the end of the season so there's no point changing the manager until then either.

So you're saying that no other team could sustain a challenge with the players we have available?

The team is hardly full of youth team players. Yes, we had a man sent off but we've won games in the past in that situation. We've lost some good players but we have a pretty big squad and that team was not exactly an inexperienced one.

I know this is hard for the likes of you and daveB, but it's time to accept that old Harry boy isn't doing a very good job. There are excuses that can be made, but at the end of the day, we've been pretty dire for most of the season. The fact that there are some similarly awful teams in this division should not mask the fact that we bought in quite a few players and haven't done particularly well.

most of the youth players that we do have in the squad or who are called upon are not even our youth.

Most of the players out there I feel are just countingt down the pay days until the contracts terminate in 3 months or so.

Why should they bother..............Harry thats a question for you

Who cares anymore? just enjoy the home games for some peace from the other half and a few beers. the club couldn't care less about any of us. i pump thousands into the corporate side but they couldn't give a toss. We travel up and down the country following a bunch of vvankers who are not rangers people and half really do not want to be at all. better to stay in the championship buy a young hungry squad with 1 or 2 experienced players in the team and crack on. Even if we lose every week it will not be down to lack of effort. lets face it guys if we were as bad at our day jobs we would have no food on the table.

No I am saying that no other team could have sustained a challenge if 4 or 5 of their first choice team were out with long term injuries .

Take Trippier , Ings and Vokes out of Burnley .... then take their next best 3 . Then take their replacement centre forward away after 3 games , Then take the goalkeeper out and replace him with a guy who hasnt played at this level before , then take another 2 out injured on Sat .

Then take your team to the other end of the country 3 days later , go 1-0 down and 10 men inside half an hour . Then see if you Win or Lose

Its not hard for me to accept that it hasnt gone as well as it could , I am not for or against Harry Redknapp ,but I am for taking into account the reasons for the way we are playing and cutting him some slack , getting behind the team and seeing where we end up .

You can say we have been dire all year , but until the injuries hit however we were playing it had us in and around the auto spots.

If we win the playoff final by an own goal in 91 minutes all the critiscism in the world wont negate the fact that he did what he was asked .

If he fails all bets off and we start the whole cycle again

If you want to know what Burnley would have done without their best player, you could start by asking what we would have done if (say) our top scorer had been sold two days before the season started. Oh, he was. Fortunately, our £10m wages budget stretched to include competent reserves.

After that, you're right. We couldn't have coped with the injuries, we've been lucky. (Though our next best scorer is now injured - we'll see how that goes. 1 out of 1 won so far.) But given an extra £50m on the budget to pay reserve player salaries, I think our Mr. Dyche might have made a better job of it than your Mr. Redknapp.

Got a point and its all very sad to see our club being used by this bunch of parasites. It all started with Hughes signing up crap with his agent and allegedly splitting the commissions and in fairness to Harry - Austin, Phillips and Simpson were good buys and their injuries have without a doubt impacted us. However, the players we have on the books are Harry's mates / journeymen with no passion for QPR and a couple of youngsters on loan. I honestly do not think we will make the play off's at this rate as the fight is not there with this bunch of losers. Unfortunately the manager is the person who has to galvanise and motivate but he is not doing that. Maybe its just not to be this year and we have to CONTRL/ALT/DELETE on the lot of 'em and start afresh with a lower wage bill on August 1 when a load of contracts expire.

There are reasons we have so many injuries.

1. We sign injury-prone players

2. We sign old players

3. We've been a bit unlucky

Two of those three things are the fault of management.

Sign a whole load of 30+ players, sign a whole load of players with poor previous fitness records, then when they all get injured and look tired two thirds of the way through a 46 game season use it as a reason for poor performances. Sounds like an excuse to me. Don't want a giant injury list then give a bit more care and long term thought to who you're fcking signing.

That team we had out there last night should have been more than good enough to get a result. It ran the white flag up because the referee dared to give a penalty and a red card against us.

We could ask why these QPR players clearly and obviously gave up last night. We had a meal with a Sheff Wed fan afterwards, and one of the lads who went with us hasn't seen much of QPR this season, and they both said the same thing - QPR very clearly and obviously gave up after that first goal. Not a single fck given once they were behind.

We could ask how we've gone from a situation where we could have a man sent off in the first half against Reading (a much better side than Sheff Wed) and actually go on to still dominate the game and win 1-0 anyway, to a point where one goal and a red card against Sheffield Wednesday is a reason to clock off for the night.

We could ask why so many of those players who played that night at Reading are no longer with the club - I think only Clint Hill played last night from that team. Why have we purged so many fantastic players and good servants from our club and replaced them with this shower? Why has so much of that been done with so much blessing from the supporters, who should be up in bloody arms that people like Shaun Derry, Marc Bircham, Jamie Mackie, Adel Taarabt, Kaspars Gorkss, Matt Connolly and probably soon Ale Faurlin and Hill are just being allowed to leave our club but instead sing the name of Joey Barton and talk about what a great attitude Gary fcking O'Neil has.

We could ask why we passed the ball straight to Sheffield Wednesday before the penalty in the first place - another aimless, sideways pass, that would have accomplished fck all even it had been completed correctly. Why are we playing this way? Why so negative? Why so hesitant to go forward?

Or we could make a load of excuses. Let's chase the referee across the pitch before the kick has been taken, and then chase him back up the pitch and nearly reduce ourselves to nine men because Joey the Wonder Boy can't keep his fcking trap shut. Let's excuse our vastly overpaid professional players for literally giving up with an hour of football left to play and say "well we've got a lot of injuries."

Let's excuse Tony Fernandes for the way he is running this club because he seems like a nice fella.

Like I say, excuses culture.

Yup and that's what pissed me, and everyone else I'm sure, right off.

Sendings off happen, it's how the team responds. The players just turned into petulant "It's not fair" children and Wednesday took full advantage and run us ragged.

Players squabbling FFS.

OK, it does show some passion but do it in the dressing room, not in full view on the pitch.

Spot on. Age, fitness record and temperament are widely known facts yet the board and management team chose to ignore these factors with some of the signings. The number of times I've heard Harry introduce a signing as a gamble is incredible. Given QPR's budget, gambling on old players, players who have been largely unfit for years or players with a hair trigger temper was completely unnecessary and foolish.

Whilst, dare I say it, Harry the crook has created a career based on solid excuse-based foundations, there is something else missing from Northern's analysis. There is no excuse for having no tactical style, template, pattern or whatever you want to call it to our play. Whether we have had all our players fit or not, the performances this season, bar one comfy home win v Boro (where for all our basket weaving passing we still didn't score 2nd half) have been solidly mundane. Why is it, with our top top triffic management team, that no supporter of any club could describe how we play. Tiki-taka, long ball, pressing, through the middle, get it to the wingers and hope (Man U style), I mean what the hell is it they're trying to achieve? What is being coached? For nearly a season and a half to show for it, this management team has no answers and I find that to be inexcusable.

Agree with that. The team has no identity and many supporters feel estranged despite QPR sitting in 4th spot.

Love or loathe his tactics, many supporters would have been relatively happy with Ollie in charge of a team in 4th spot.
