Laudrups Sacking Celebratory Thread 21:45 - Feb 4 with 4802 views | DwightYorkeSuperstar | I'm sure there are others like me who are thrilled with the fully justified sacking of Saint Laudrup. Feel free to post here along with the other superior and more intelligent supporters who knew this had to happen and let us rejoice together. Our road to survival begins tonight.

Laudrups Sacking Celebratory Thread on 14:21 - Mar 19 by Darran | Please tell me you don't believe that Huw Jenkins is running the show himself? F*cking Christ. |
I don't believe that no, that would be silly. But he is the man who is putting himself in a different national paper every week, he is the one who the manager himself said is taking on overly hands on role in the training ground, he is the one who has a reputation for signing players without a managers approval before. I would have a go at Dineen but the man is a clown and is not worth the trouble. The fact that he, a director at our club, gets into petty arguments on Twitter with children who are probably no older than 16 shows how amateurish we are and it is embarrassing.

Laudrups Sacking Celebratory Thread on 13:46 - Mar 19 by DwightYorkeSuperstar | If you care to take a further look back at my posts and threads, you will see that I was lobbying for Laudrup to be sacked a few weeks before this thread was made. So yes, it is a entirely serious thread. And to the person who suggested a pattern is developing, let's hope so. I saw Laudrup was taking us down, voiced my concerns, suffered verbal abuse, Laudrup was sacked. I saw quite early on that Garry was absolutely clueless and was an absolutely disgraceful appointment, voiced my concerns, suffered verbal abuse, and now the majority of the forum is in agreement. I can see that our club is being run by Jenkins in a disgusting manner where he is untouchable to criticism. The only people in a position to criticise him on a formal stage are The Trust, but they either lack the testicular fortitude to do so or are happy to suckle from Huw's tit and stay in the rosy position they are. Let's Hope in a few weeks the majority of fans want answers from the board as it will increase pressure on 'The Trust' to act. |
how is the trust supposed to operate in a situation for instance the sacking of a manager

In the instance of a sacking of a manager? I'm not sure, thanking them for their service I guess and wishing them luck in the future, but that is not what I am talking about. I am talking about how they operate in a time where our chairman seems to be becoming increasingly egotistical, a time where calling him a megalomaniac is not an absurd over reaction but an accusation that has solid justification. He has a free run of the club and it bemuses me why even some our own fans think he is untouchable regarding criticism. It is staggering.

I wouldn't be surprised if it went to a vote? And most decisions are known beforehand. Don't think one individual would decide whether to sack a manager. Do the Trust have a say? probably but think we are the whipping boys in there, so not sure what its worth. Doesn't need major change, the way its structured it would never happen unless someone bought them all out, which i wouldn't want to happen. They have been through alot together, as have us fans, but wouldn't be here without them. Just hope they don't take eye if ball and if they need outside help, to have the balls to seek it, at any level. [Post edited 19 Mar 2014 19:57]

Laudrups Sacking Celebratory Thread on 21:22 - Mar 19 with 796 views | 1jack | I'm sorry but this is all getting a bit silly. We all should know that Huw is the the public face of Swansea City and that there are 1 or 2 people in the background who also have a huge, if not final say in the running of the club and there is absolutely no way Huw makes any big decisions on his own. The sacking of Laudrup, being the biggest decision of all, will have been discussed at length by all concerned and only once agreed by all would the sacking have happened. To say Huw is this egotistical chairman with Tan like power is a bit off the mark.
