Defoe and Daima 22:16 - Jan 31 with 7197 views | Bucks_Ranger | Sky just said Ryan Nelson said we could loan Defoe for 28 days, however Levy would not sanction it. Daima just arrived at HQ [Post edited 31 Jan 2014 22:18]

Defoe and Maiga on 23:54 - Jan 31 by SpiritofGregory | Yes, we need a cunning, hard ball negotiator like Levi. |
TF's unlikely to get fleeced twice. Think he has set his stall out now. Levi has no class. TF has it by the shed full.

What has class got to do with it? Bottom line is Tony knows nothing about the footballing side, he should stick to the corporate side of things stadium/training facilities/sponsorship etc. Tony is too nice to be dealing with players and agents and that's where someone like Levi comes in, he is more on their level. Football is a dirty business and we need someone who is comfortable dealing in that environment. We need someone who can screw other clubs, players and agents much in the same way we have been screwed.

Defoe and Daima on 00:16 - Feb 1 with 1229 views | NorthLondonR | So cunning and hard ball with that £30m purchase of Lamela and that £10m odd signing of Eddie Mcgoldrick esque Chadli, so cunning. And then that inspirational appointment of Sherwood - ingenious!! That's exactly what we're crying out for. People mention they have basically "reinvested" the Bale money however layered it with around £200k extra a week in wages. All on the premis that they will redevelop their stadium which cannot happen in tottenham..unless they invest around £1b in infrastructure...that's what we need!

Aren't you a bundle of joy as usual. What makes you think that r Tone has done anything other than try to negotiate deals with the targets name by HR and his team.or that Levy is any better? As an undoubtedly astute businessman what makes you think he "knows nothing about the footballing side"? I'd hazard a guess that he knows a Damon sight more than you so give the man a break for once Any chance to knock the best chairman we've ever had in the 40 odd years I've been a fan and you just can't resist can ya [Post edited 1 Feb 2014 0:41]

Bit of an unreasonable assessment of TF that. He aint bought a sausage this time out. Learned his lesson with Mark fcking Hughes. Who could have blamed him for spending a fair old lump in this window to get us up and see some return on his investment? But he hasn't. He's taken one hell of a gamble...what's Levi ever done? Spunked the Bale money, sacked Harry and destroyed Villa Boas who had previously started to look like a decent Manager before working for Levi. No class.

Defoe and Maiga on 23:19 - Jan 31 by SpiritofGregory | I agree with Levy, why should Spurs do us any favours? It's not their fault that we have flogged Charlie into the ground because we failed to properly address the striker situation during the summer. |
"flogged him to death"! he dislocated a shoulder, his leg didn't fall off. nothing anyone could do to prevent that injury other than not play him on Tuesday for no other reason that mystic meg told you he'd have a nasty fall!

I fail to see how having an awkward fall from a challenge has anything to do with Charlie playing up front for most games. This was not his body breaking down from over use but hitting the ground from a height. Ah just saw WestberksR post saying the same. Echo [Post edited 1 Feb 2014 2:43]

Still don't know what class has to do with it, football is a dirty business. As for Tony not spening money, he is spending on loanees wages. If he didn't want to spend so much we should have signed Nahki Wells, like so many on this board told him to do. We keep on making stupid mistakes. Take the Amit situation, can't understand why Amit was pushed aside, he did a wonderful job as chairman. Tony needs to swallow is pride and move over to the corporate side of things and leave the players and agents to someone else. As for Phil Beard that guy is useless.

Wasn't it Rednkapp who said no to Wells and not TF?
