Help The Saints Disabled Supporters Assn Tell The Squad "We Miss You" Thursday, 26th Nov 2020 11:54 The Southampton Disabled Supporters Association are celebrating their 10th anniversary in a unique way and all Saints fans can be a part of by putting their picture on a giant banner to be displayed at Staplewood, find out more about the initiative here. Saints fans have been offered the chance to connect with Ralph Hasenhuttl and his squad by having their picture placed on a banner set to go up at Staplewood. The Saints Disabled Supporters Association(SDSA) have come up with the idea of the ‘We Miss You’ banner campaign, to show that the Saints’ supporters might not be able to get into games at St Mary's but are still right behind the team in spirit.. Fans can upload their image to be used on the banner via the Association’s website saintsdsa.org.uk below — along with donating £10 towards the cost of producing it. Southampton Disabled Supporters Association “We are creating a banner made up of Saints fans photographs to display at Staplewood training ground so that, even though they don’t have us in the stadium just now, the players can see us every day when they’re training. “Southampton FC have kindly given us their permission to display the banner there. “Some Saints fans have felt very isolated without the ability to connect with others as they usually do at St Mary’s. “So, we’re hoping that a large banner with hundreds of fans faces, young and old, will give not only the fans but Ralph and the boys a lift in time for Christmas”.
