Braintree Town 1-0 Eastleigh Eastleigh's play-off hopes were dented after a 1-0 defeat at lowly Braintree. Marley Marshall-Miranda's third-minute goal condemned the visitors to a first loss in five matches. John Akinde's effort was blocked but the ball fell to Marshall-Miranda, whose first-time shot crashed in off the crossbar. Braintree finished the match with 10 men after Ryan Clampin was shown a second yellow card eight minutes from time. R. Clampin started but then sent off at 82' M. Marshall-Miranda played full 90' and scored :D C. Cooper came on as sub after 79' J. Akinde played full 90' A. Judge unused sub. R. Brindley played 62' for Eastleigh before being subbed off. |

Gabe Breeze has just been named player of the match on TV. Saved them against us and doing it again versus Barrow! Not just a Breeze, but maybe a (gale) force to be reckoned with in the game! |

HALF-TIME Barrow 0-1 Carlisle Barrow have had more shots, more pressure and more territory but Carlisle have the most precious thing of all - a goal! Matty Dennis' first goal for the club has his side ahead at the break and a platform to try and take a crucial three points from this match. |

Thu 27 Feb 2025 League Two Barrow v Carlisle United Shouldn't effect us in our race for promotion, but would like a Carlisle win to keep Barrow away..... |

Not sure that it is fair to compare Mandron with Anderson, as they are 2 completely different players that play in different positions, don't they? Mandron or Taylor is a fairer debate surely. Anderson seems to be getting a fair bit of stick on here and social media recently and I'm not sure why??? Is it because Hopper has left? Let's get behind all of the Current U's players as well as keeping an eye on the Former U's ay! |

Wed 26 Feb 2025 Hearts 3-1 St. Mirren Hearts leapfrogged St Mirren to move into the Scottish Premiership top six for the first time since August as they came from behind to beat the Paisley side at Tynecastle. St Mirren had gone ahead through the only real chance of the first half, when Mikael Mandron capitalised on a loose ball in the box to fire home. No sign of Kent - haven't seen his name in the Hearts line up for a while now - must be injured as he was a regular at the start of the season.... |

Mikael Mandron: Rangers 0-2 St. Mirren Rangers' turbulent campaign took another lurch downwards as St Mirren won in Glasgow to record back-to-back victories over the Ibrox club for the first time since the 1979-80 season. Mikael Mandron fired in on 51 minutes, celebrating exuberantly after his initially disallowed strike was eventually awarded by referee Kevin Clancy after consulting the monitor. |

Braintree Boys: John Akinde earned Braintree a precious point in their fight against relegation as they drew 1-1 at Sutton. Akinde levelled three minutes later following a mix-up in the home defence, with the veteran striker rounding Sims and slotting into an empty net. Akinde had a header tipped over by Sims and sent another off target but neither side could find a winner, with Sutton's Besart Topalloj sent off late on after clashing with Chay Cooper. R. Clampin played full 90' M. Marshall-Miranda played full 90' J. Akinde played full 90' C. Cooper came on as a sub at 80' |

Frank Nouble: Maidenhead United 0-2 Yeovil Town Frank Nouble and Harvey Greenslade fired Yeovil to a comfortable win over a Maidenhead side who remain in relegation trouble in the National League |

Noah Chilvers: Ross County climbed within two points of the Scottish Premiership top six - and five clear of second-bottom Dundee - with their first home win since November. "Hale springing Phillips down the right and he squared for Noah Chilvers to bullet home first-time, marking his 24th birthday with a goal." A. Donnelly came on as a 24' sub - obviously didn't help! |

Accrington have broken the deadlock at Prenton Park against Tranmere in the huge game at the foot of the table. Shaun Whalley with the goal there. Ryan Graydon has turned things around as Fleetwood are 2-1 up at Gillingham. The Cod Army have come from behind to lead. And Bromley v Bradford remains goalless. |

Elliott Nevitt has given Gillingham the lead against Fleetwood at Priestfield. That's his third of the season. Tranmere v Accrington is still goalless as is Bromley v Bradford. |
