| News Comment | Celarbrace drags QPR’s team, fans and striker back from the brink – Report at 10:21:06
So it’s YOU who’s responsible for that Agyemang edit on Wikipedia? I’ve wondered about that for years and years. I was in a pub in the Midlands with Champions League on screens to the left and right, and patrons coming in confused as to how Cardiff vs QPR had made it onto the big central TV (good terms with the landlord). It was one of the lad’s birthdays - he’s Liverpool - and I said we’d do shots everytime one of our teams conceded - half selfishly to numb my own pain. Two clean sheets of course with Mbappe having his own Celar-at-the-weekend showing. Then started doing shots for an altogether different reason! |
| News Comment | Bonfire of the vanities – Report at 09:37:49
Not sexually graphic enough in my opinion. I can only assume you’re trying to save some material for Leeds (A). We’ll always be here watching and supporting but a small part of me wishes I was into brothels instead of QPR - at this point feels like it would be a more rewarding and healthier life choice. |
| News Comment | Well, it is that time of year — Report at 21:17:20
Love, love, love The Old Joint Stock.. that being said glad you didn’t end up there before the final whistle. I’ve had Cov at LR in my diary since fixture release day being that I live and work here (there for most reading). Have obviously been consigned to defeat for a long time. 13 minutes into the WBA game I was contemplating drinking from Friday evening through to eliminate my awareness of what might be happening on Saturday.. It’s the hope that kills you.. please lads, don’t make us suffer those first 15 mins of pain before playing football this weekend. |
| News Comment | QPR make their Carrow Road point — Report at 07:13:35
Fantastic report as ever! Combination of astute assessment and tongue-in-cheek humour. Prior to this game, perhaps scarred by Birmingham, I thought we were in for a roasting from the well-financed Norwich. But we stood up well, performed well as a unit and even threatened. Have some faith that similar performances over the next few games will yield a decent points return. |
| News Comment | More Peterborough pain turns the natives restless - Report at 12:13:50
Sincerely appreciated report as ever. Think I just needed to read someone else say what I saw to slow down the endless reeling I’ve been doing since about the time of their equaliser. Solidly blaming myself for commenting just how awful they were after 10-15mins, clearly showing why they are bottom of the league, and scoffing at the fact they’d beaten us twice this season. Triple serving of egg on face please Chef Warbs. Would love to be the romantic that knows it’s all still to play for, I know there’s always one team on a slide that let’s loose their grip on the prize of a play off spot by capitulating at the wrong moment. Seems there’s two this year, us and Blackburn whilst everyone else is coming on strong. And being honest, losing to Barnsley, Cardiff & Peterborough (again-again) and chuck in that loss to The Chicken Farmers to boot, I’d be more hopeful of making that last spot as a Blackburn fan than an R. Was fun for a while at least. |
| News Comment | A puzzle to be solved - Preview at 03:55:08
2005? You must be joking! Great preview as ever. Usually find things at 3am to put me back to sleep, knew clicking the link on Newsnow that brought me here was a bad move. Here’s hoping you never want to stop writing. P.S. Great cycle back to the cock-jokes with the viagra reference. |
| News Comment | QPR hold their nerve to settle cup thriller - Report at 10:17:23
Your reports always make fantastic reading Clive. Honestly a QPR highlight of my week win, lose or draw. Talking of highlights: I don't know if this is common practice or just a treat at the behest of the Thai energy drink company who sponsor the show, but the official website has the full match to watch on there for free, if anyone wants to live or re-live the game after the fact. |
