I suggest you try the red button next time there is coverage on Sky and tune in . Reading are anything but a ‘long ball / back to front ‘ side . QPR , Preston and high flying Fulham on their own
patch might just testify to that ! All three came away with zero points |

There is this candidate he has played over 350 games at the highest level, represented his country over 40 times . Assistant Manager for National Team 40 plus occasions and has been Assistant Manager at Premiership level over 570 games ( standing in as Interim Manager on 2 occasions ) .
He applies for the Swansea position in May 2019 and attends an initial interview with the Chairman. He is initially informed by the Club that they are very impressed and enthusiastic by his presentation and will look to meet ‘ in the shortness of time ‘ to further discuss the position . He receives no further contact whatsoever .
He subsequently learns that he has been passed over for an under 17 Manager who has absolutely no Managerial experience in the senior professional game .
Undeterred he is appointed in a like capacity by a rival club who see some merit in his experience . After 14 games he has 8 wins , 3 draws and 3 defeats ( two of those defeats by a single goal to Leeds and Brentford) . 27 points out of a possible 45 which statistically puts him in the top two performing Managers in the Championship, since his appointment in mid October 2019.
Symptomatic of the chaos which prevails in this Club !!!! |

I think you will find that the point that was being made was in reference to the Old Firm apparently playing in a ‘ pub league ‘ . However now that you mention Man City in passing , you will of course be aware that the last time Celtic met with them in the Champions league group stages in 2016 , they gained credible draws both home and away scoring 4 times in the process . Not bad for a pub side playing in a pub league ! |

Pub league ? Celtic have beaten Lazio home and away in the Europa , the same Lazio that beat Juve 3-1 last weekend . They also beat Leipzig at home 2-0 last years tournament ,
who are currently third in the Bundesliga.
Rangers have defeated both Porto and Feyenoord in this seasons campaign teams who have won Champions League / European Cup previously .. Some pub league that !
Truth is both Old Firm sides would piss all over this current Swans shambles |

Given the sequence of dreadful results coupled with an abject lack of playing style , in any other business this would have resulted in immediate termination of contract by now. Realistically however what did the fan base really expect following his appointment ???? He’s never remotely been anywhere near this level of Senior football . He cannot stem the tide , has no real experience to call upon . Dead man walking . |

Just returned from Oz , first time at Liberty for over 6 months . Joe Allen absolutely ran the show from start to finish. In a different league to what we can offer ( that said he’s 70k per week )We will at best finish top
ten if today is a decent gauge of our ability . We had no width against a side that’s won twice since January 2019. Realityhas today just sunk in . We are miles off being a realistic threat in this league |

Well hopefully the Yanks have spoken to Leon and Curt direct and they have told them this is a crock of shit appointment and let’s get a Manager in with experience of looking after a senior professional side . Our side needs a strong experienced guiding hand given what is in front of us this season . Arguably our most potent attacking player has been sold in James and there is a real likelihood that one at least of Grimes , Rodon, Roberts or Mc Burnie will follow to plug the financial hole.Little mention is made of new blood coming in as there will be none of any real quality. Gents this is a season to consolidate , any other aspirations are seriously delusional . You cannot roll the dice on a novice appointment in this league with this squad |

Pressed wrong arrow . Totally agree experience needed . How is this novice going to handle some of the strong characters in the changing room when they start having their say. And on what basis will he be able to gain their confidence and respect ..... unfortunately I am World Cup Winner ....under 17 .... might just not be enough |

Even Wikipedia struggles ....... son ofKeith Cooper the ref...For the record Jose 94 as a pro effectively 10 plus years in various coaching capacities with Sir Bobby Robson before getting on the ladder . Brendan no games as a pro , a number of years with Chelsea Youth before Managing at Watford and Reading before coming to Manage the Swans |

Don’t worry Steve Cooper looks like he has it !!!! Never played a single game as a pro , never coached or managed a pro team but has looked after Welsh Prem sides and academy Under 17 sides !!!!! What f.....g planet are these people on . Could be almost as catastrophic as the Bradley appointment |

I have searched but cannot find anything derogatory he has said about the Swans but that aside he can be the most miserable Manager in the history of football as long as he galvanises this Club of ours (which incidentally we all know is in a terrible mess ) his experience in the game is streets ahead of any of the so called front runners |
