Last time I went to Eastleigh’s ground was back in the Wessex League days. No doubt I would not recognise the ground now.
Cannot imagine there will be any riots if you were in any ‘home’ section to be honest…. |

….Jim Ratcliffe has been dripping about the members of the PL, i.e the 20 teams all having equal shares and ‘votes’ on Premier League matters? Word is it sounds like he is thinking along the lines of the big 6 having more say, or possibly a bigger slice of the pie. Seriously, so wish these Cartel owners and their clubs would do one.
I know we had to go up in order to maintain some of our better players, but fcuk me part of my desire was to stay down….. |

Saw some of her last night and said exactly the same. In fairness at points, half wondered from the bits I saw if the sound desk and set up was right. Don’t get me wrong, so off key but then at other stages she did hug the odd kite with volume. Seemed to be very ‘quiet’ though…. |

Oh, don’t get me wrong Grumps, he got us promoted so deserves a fair crack of the whip (i.e. the whole of this season) but doesn’t mean I have to fawn over the guy either (like some of the Social Media plebs now in our fan base)…..

Just watched The Vaccines set and they were quality. Missed ‘James’ who for some bizarre reason were on between 3 and 4.
Last time I went was back in 2000 and in all honesty, the numbers involved and types that now go is something I prefer to avoid. For me these days I am all for supporting the grass roots venues and acts struggling to make a crust. Take tonight for instance, Fontaines DC and Idles are both playing and anyone who supports the likes of the Joiners etc. could have caught them long before they got to play in Pilton.
1994 was the pinnacle for me with that Manics set being one of the best ever. Mind you, in them days it tended to be lads and lasses donning DM’s whereas now it is more Hunters and Coco Channel handbags….. [Post edited 28 Jun 21:11]

Let’s be honest, Ings on his day is better than any strikers we currently have on the books and a natural finisher. As with Lallana though, would I want him back? Not really but hey looks like we have money to burn on wages……. |

Agree. Some seem to argue that it’s cos he hasn’t achieved anything yet there are plenty of so-called managers out there in that boat. Don’t think he has too shabby a record tbh. |

Totally agree, but sadly we won’t really make any difference or they won’t give a ****.
There was a good prog / documentary by BBC (or it may have been a podcast) on Season Ticket prices in the PL. The poor söds when they got to Fulham were seeing massive hikes and the clubs don’t really give a rats as they know the tourists in London will pay daft money as part of ‘the experience’ whilst on holiday. It was seriously cringey seeing three yanks trotting off to Craven Cottage saying how much they loved the club and didn’t see any problem with increasing demand (and basically killing off the loyal support who followed the club through the leagues).
Still, at least when the big clubs start trotting off abroad to the States and the like the fans will receive the ‘Kiss Cams’ and ‘Bazooka T-Shirt guns’ experience…. [Post edited 13 Jun 21:38]

It’s so gonna happen at some point.
Sadly whilst some fans who claim to support the Cartel Clubs were for it (playing the likes of Barca every week) I don’t think they can foresee what is a coming. Most however don’t live anywhere near their respective clubs so makes no odds; all they claim is that they don’t want to play the likes of us or Brentford each season. The true fans though, ie fans of LFC or United whom attend every week can see this will make it ever harder to watch their club as these teams parade around the globe to play fixtures in places like Outer Mongolia.
The game is partly there, but in ten years time I dread to think how ruined it will have become. [Post edited 13 Jun 15:39]

Ok, we get it, you like VAR whereas some others don’t. Totally agree, it’s here to stay but it doesn’t mean everyone has to like it does it. It was one of the many joys of the Championship, but no doubt they will adopt it at some point. [Post edited 10 Jun 18:24]
