Selling this sh*t to the punters is the biggest dilemma the club will soon face. How man will bother coming back after Covid? As Stainrod has pointed out, where are the next generation of supporters coming from with this crap being served up season after season with no get out? Out best players, often loaned in are here for a season tops and anyone who's half decent will be gone in the next transfer window as well. It's a shite state of affairs. |
| News Comment | QPR happy to toss away FA Cup place to Sheff Wed - Report at 09:36:27
Warburton has heaped unnecessary pressure on himself now giving up the FA Cup with a whimper for the benefit of facing Blackburn on a cold Tuesday night in the North. Lose that which we no doubt will, and all of a sudden his credit with the QPR support base much like his predecessors who have all fallen for the same idea, takes a hammering. QPR owe it to the fans to have made that fifth round tie – a potential money spinner. They bleat on about FFP, cutting the wage bill and all the rest of it and then p*ss away the opportunity to make a fair few quid. Like many supporters, I would have loved another cup run this year, keeping the season somewhat alive for a few more weeks. It was awful, for some reason the travel to LR on Friday night was a pig, train from Clapham to SB was late and extremely busy, rush to get in the ground for 8:00 and then the team selection and subsequent performance equally annoying. You get that nagging voice in your head “If QPR can’t be bothered, why should I?†MW needs a result on Tuesday or things will start to turn sour. |
| News Comment | QPR blow Forest hoodoo out of the water — Report at 09:53:20
Another great match report, captures what was an amazing day out quite beautifully. Was great to meet you on the train home Saturday, I was quite drunk by St Pancras so pardon me if I was talking a lot of bollocks. |
| News Comment | Hoos talks Warren Farm, FFP, Loftus Road — Interview at 14:30:14
Thank you for the posting this interview, a very insightful piece. Long way to go but it sounds like QPR in a decade or so will be a very well run if not different club. Can only be a positive. That little jape from beers in the toilets did make me laugh. |
| News Comment | QPR's epic 1990 FA Cup run - History at 09:51:09
Great write up, thanks That Liverpool game still wrangles with me, it was my 11 birthday that day and was watching it on TV with my mu, dad and brother after the Sunday lunch. Reckon Seaman should have done better with Barnes's free kick. Looks like Roy Evans whacked his head on the dug out when Rush scored. |
| News Comment | Hull horror show from Holloway's Rangers - Report at 14:30:59
A blatant Red card for Onuoha. I can understand what has prompted him to do it, the Hull players was being a complete knob and trying to stir a reaction from Scowen and Ned took exception to it but stupidly went the wrong way about dealing with it. Stupid. |
| News Comment | Wednesday make it five straight defeats for hapless Rangers - Report at 23:51:04
At the match I thought Sylla had put it behind and the ball hit the outside of the net. When a goal was given I assumed it was scored before Sylla rounded the keeper and had gone over the line or something weird. Having watched the replay there does seem to be a weird glitch in The Matrix where the ball vanishes and re-appears as Sylla's placed shot hits the back of the net. I cant quite work it out and neither it seemed could all three sides of the hone fans. Weird sh*t. |

Great report. Some interesting questions asked and some really good answers from the CEO - sounds like a good man with no ego which is refreshing in modern football. I hope the club keep Lee Hoos and Les working together for many years to come. Definitely get the feeling that the club is finally moving on the right path. |
