I'm not saying I wholeheartedly agree, but considering the same year had: White light/White Heat, Lumpy Gravy, Ptooff etc released, I can seen how a case could be made. |

What makes you think Russia are keen on the US getting their hands on 50% of the minerals? It seems more likely that they aren't and made their feelings known before that meeting. That would explain how it went from Zelensky being in the US to sign the deal to a tirade from Vance and then a concerted effort to scupper it. Instructions from the Kremlin is my guess. |

Do you get much peace in an annexed country? I think they'll gamble on being able to keep Russia at bay for another 4 years until a change of leadership in the US. What's it going to cost us? A hike in mortgage rates and lots of work for one of our key industries. Another million Russians and maybe 100,000 Ukrainians dead isn't going to keep our politicians awake at night.
If Trump was serious about peace, he'd pressure Putin for a deal not Zelensky. |

I don't think there's any question of Russian interference in elections, either in the US or here or where they've focused their efforts. The contention is around if there was collusion between the Trump campaign & the Russians. The closest they got was the Mueller report

Undocumented migrants are less likely to commit crime than the natives. In December crossings were already down 81% on the previous year, due to actions taken by Mexico and Biden. Trump's contribution has been to effectively ban asylum for those at the southern border and send more border patrol staff. |
