| News Comment | In the Bleak Midwinter - Report at 12:02:45
Great report as usual. The comments about the ref are spot on and for me his showing and the one by the ref in the England game the night before are one of the reasons I think many people are falling out of love with the game. Some people will say it evens itself out over a season, where is the proof ? We might well have still lost that game as Burnley were miles better than us right across the park but these decisions change games and matter. Sadly at the moment there is a malaise about the club which is going to take some lifting. But as you say the least the long suffering Rangers fans expect is a decent effort. How is it we never have a skipper who is in the referees ear like most other teams pointing out their many mistakes . That ref on Sunday was responsible for the flare up after the second goal when he allowed the customary 3 minute celebration and group hug and then done nothing about a little shit back heeling the ball away. He then compounded it by talking to Jimmy Dunne and not the offender. Some on here try and defend referees, sadly that is getting harder and harder for them to do as the level of officiating is at an all time low. |
| News Comment | Josh Bowler, stop me if you’ve heard this one before, QPR, etc. — Report at 09:54:00
Good report as usual Clive , much appreciated. Feel your pain with this charade of time wasting and feigning injury. Sadly it,s been going on for years and expecting the authorities to do anything about it is a complete waste of time ( excuse the pun ) There is so much wrong with the modern game now and if it is allowed to carry on I can see attendances falling gradually as people get fed up with the on field antics and rising costs of paying good money to be ripped of. As much as fans are attached to their clubs like all of us at QPR there is a limit to what people will put up with. As for the result , well I think those uf us who have been fans of the Rs for a while half suspected this is what we would get from our team, I certainly did, years of crushing dissapointment after a decent result previously. What does concern me slightly is there were quite a few families there on Tues night and I wonder how many of them will come back after witnessing the poor performance and the shithousery. Lastly some wag in the SA Road stand asked the question quite loudly " If Lyndon Dykes is the answer what is the question " . I can answer that , Who is the worst centre forward we have had in recent memory ? |
| News Comment | But she just smiled and turned away — Report at 09:34:09
Very good report as usual Clive. Said a lot of what I said in the forum but more eloquently. For an official to allow himself to be verbally and physically intimidated like Mitrovic did early on is nothing short of a disgrace. As soon as that happened we all new he was going to favour Fulham every chance he got. His waiting for Fulham to tell him it was a penalty was embarressing to him and referees in general. His failure to book the player for the blatant dive in the second half just as bad. I agree that Fulham were a different class to us and were going to win anyway but all you ask for as a fan of any sport is a level playing field which far to often we are not getting. I think a lot of these officials are weak individuals who are to easily intimidated by players and managers. This unfortunatley has crept into the game a lot and I wish it hadn,t but we as a team need to seriously get onside with with this and appoint 2 or 3 players to continually pester the officials as other teams do until the time comes when the authorities get their act together and say that only the captain can speak to the referee. Not going to happen though. |
| News Comment | The perks of being a QPR fan - Report at 09:19:13
Absolutely agree with everyone on here with applauding that report. For those of us not there after reading that we could have been. And it managed to convey everything it is about being a QPR fan. The angry Toby jug comment, pure gold. Brilliant |

Very good piece of writing, sums up the whole situation brilliantly. Sadly for us another great QPR no 10 gone . And in situations like this I always wonder whether we are going to find another great no 10 but somehow down the line we do. Good luck Mr Eze |

Good report and great performance from the boys but can’t agree with a six for the ref. You must have been watching a different game, I wouldn,t have given him more than a two. An absolute disgrace from start to finish. |

Dear Chris, time to go old chap. Well to be honest you should never have been shouldered with this responsibility in the first place. But having been appointed you have done your best, only it,s not good enough. This is based not on one result but on your regime since the day you took over. The team lacks direction, no plan A yet alone plan B, a very predictable formation that you will not or cannot change hence getting torn apart by nearly every opposition, the players are either totally confused by your tactics or more likely don,t believe in them hence the alarming lack of confidence in the team, your failure to inject any real pace into the team has also left us hamstrung as anyone with the most basic of coaching qualifications will tell you that is exctly what you need. Lets be honest Chris, without Charlie ( as we will be now for a while) we would be bottom of this league by a mile, that's how bad you are and how bad you have made this team. Your persistence with picking Rob Green in goal and Perch at right back is contrary to anything approaching common sense, Hall has been playing very well at center half surely you could have put him in and moved Ned to right back about four games ago, but no you stand there on the sidelines watching the same games as me and do absolutely nothing. As much as I like Ned as a player, he is no captain. So in order for everyone to feel better and the team to progress it is time to fall on your sword and resign, I am sure if you speak to Tony he will let you go back to coaching the youth team where I am sure your talents will be appreciated and hopefully produce a decent future of home grown talent. Lastly there is no disgrace in having tried and failed, anyone with any ambition has experienced this but sadly you are out of your depth and when the team are looking for a bit of guidance and leadership there is none to be found either on the pitch or on the sidelines. |
