| News Comment | End of Term Report 23/24 – Goalkeepers at 14:32:45
One facet of the chart in the report; goals scored vs shots faced: AB has a much better average than most of them in the list. As good as Meslier and much better than Matt Ingram. From a personal viewpoint I think Walsh and Salamon might be all we need for next season. |
| News Comment | Watch me rise up and leave, all the ashes you made out of me – Report at 17:59:49
As Keith Brymer Jones is wont to say, with a tear or two in his eyes, "Brilliant! bloody Brilliant!" A match report for the ages to go with the game for the ages. For all the Jordan Cousins standing back to admire Voldemort's dictating the midfield games there are these Loftus Rd under the floodlights and the whole place rocking games to make you forget it ever happened. The fact I was still nervous in the 95th minute and 4-0 up are merely symptoms of nightmarish memories and over 59 years of rarely knowing which QPR will turn up. Friday night was the turn of the Blue & White Champions of Europe to dismantle the Pink garbed, self proclaimed WACCOE entitled gobshites. God I was buzzing outside the ground after the extended celebrations inside. One thing... no mention of the outrageous outside of the foot, over his head pass to Paal/ Chair by Dykes early in the first half? It was a sign of what sort of game he was going to have and ha me wondering if he might do a better job as an ACM as I don't think prolific goalscorer and Dykes will ever appear in the same sentence unfortunately but his workrate, defensive abilities and heading ability make him far better than comments about him being a non league shit player. Great report Clive! |

To paraphrase Rodgers & Hammerstein... How do you solve a problem like Adel? How do you catch a cloud and pin it down? Terrific article and encapsulates my feelings about his time with us. |

A great report. I haven't been this sad about a player since Adel's career at QPR was fücked up enough that he had to leave. |

Nailed it Clive! Great report. A season where we have had at least half a dozen goals as good as last nights and there are still people who only want to string Joe Lumley up after having driven Josh Scowen from the club. Joni Mitchell sang about this once. |

An excellent account Clive well done. Just for the record, I love my pink away shirt and it is no surprise to me that it is a best seller :-P I would still have loved a Dry World Dennis The Menace shirt though. |
| News Comment | Hugill's double seals second away win in Sheffield - Report at 13:39:53
It makes one wonder if there isn't an agenda here. Against Pompey, the ref was about to blow his whistle as Marquis turned and the shrill tones were echoing around KPFS before he hit the ground. Another soft one given at Wednesday and I am suspicious. Excellent report BTW. |

An historic report to commemorate an historic event. This should definitely be the opening chapter in the Clive Whittingham "Match Day Reports" coffee table book, available from all good outlets. |
| News Comment | Vintage QPR performance lands them in Hull hell - Report at 09:26:25
A good and accurate summary of the game. The narrow defending has been a bug bear of mine for most of the season as it always makes us look vulnerable from the sidelines. Around 10-15 minutes before Cameron went off he had swapped places with Luongo which effectively nullified both players skill sets, I can only guess that Cameron was flagging/ injured from chasing Hull players around and Massimo's stamina and better pace was required there. BOS should have been on for Wells after 50-55 minutes with Eze pushed forward and Freeman operating behind IMO. I would have also left Darnell on the bench as I feel that bringing him on at 1-3 may have exposed his defensive frailties and he could have ended up being the scapegoat for what turned out to be a defeat anyway. If fit, start him against Leeds and have Angel on the bench if needed. |
