First if all with the preseason and yesterday great start full of promise really confident about the year ahead. Hogan looks really good Lund as M.O.M for me but no complaints anywhere through the team . I can't remember seeing a squad that all looked so comfortable on the ball so then full of pride and looking forward to the season .only complaint the mass clear out when they put up board for injury time it does my head in stay and applaud the team these people have got themselfs in a habit and need to get out of it ,,,,,

Ok things cold be a dam site better and Coleman is a long way of making me happy right now . The issue I have is the abuse some fans are giving the players during the game .Saturday was shocking in the first half but the people sat behind me in the pearl street end were shouting out well done Keeper you've caught one or your shit keeper .Even if the keeper is not having a great game surely the fans can see shouting out during a game can't help .save it till the end .Its already taking effect when you see the lack of confidence in the players playing at home our keeper try's to stay out of ear shot from the fans and the whole atmosphere is shit these days . I don't see how the board can't act having surely learnt they hung on to our previous Manager to long and if changes must be made do it before the January window for me Coleman will be shown the door if we lose next game but the drop in attendance is the reason the board must act this week . But all that said the fans need to take a reality check with the size of club we are and the funds available do we really expect to be any higher in the league table. |

Been told from someone who is in touch with Tony ford who is in touch with people at the club that Mr Keegan is one of the very surprising names to apply .Not on any bet sights or anybody's radar .I will be the first to say it sounds a bit stupid but of course will take all the credits if it come of!!!! |

I'm racking my brain on Managers out of work who at some point have managed at Premiership level . I imagine when Chris says he was astonished who applied he was referring to these 4 more than likely any idea's guys !!!!

Just so happy at this news really hope Hill has decided to stay for one more year at least and in order to get the signing's in he must commit to the player's that he will be here for the season at least otherwise they just wont sign .

Anyone got ideas as too who we could try and sign for next year think with the year we have had we can attract a few more players who thought we may go down .It goes without saying Messi wouldn't catch but any thoughts on replacing Dawson

What a great season thank you to the whole club/ team /manager /board . cant wait for what i think will be an even more exciting season next term with more northern teams bigger gates hopefully bigger crowds and i think we are well in with a chance of securing league 1 status again but i will be realistic and anything like this year just missing out on play-offs would be another dream season cant wait to say farewell to Dawson at Peterborough he deserves a great send off and i cant wait for him to play for England Up the Dale !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

As a Dale fan of over 25 years i can honestly say i have never enjoyed going to watch the Dale as much as recent times.If some one had said to me 4-5 years ago that we would not only be in League 1 but going for Promotion and beating the likes of Southampton Sheffield Wednesday Charlton and the likes then i would of said ARE YOU FcuKING MENTAL!!!!.But i have never been so proud. Thank you to all at the club and thank you to the fans at last it seems like the moaners are becoming fewer and everyone is fully aware of what we have done and are just enjoying the ride stay positive Up the dale !!!!!!!!!!!! |

Sometimes its easy to get carried away and forget were we have come from .In the last few seasons i have seen teams such as darlo/stockport county etc go downhill and have witnessed us go from average league 2 team to a team more than holding there own in league 1.
If somebody would of told me 5-6 years ago we wouldnt just be beating wednesday in a league game but in the first 45mins giving them a football lesson i would of said " are you fCUking mental!!!!"
today was a credit to the work put in by hillcroft the board and the lads our fans were really good and would like to take this moment just to say to everyone enjoy the good times you never know when hillcroft will leave and that will be hard times for us .
wednesday fans disgrace but a fine and hopefully points taken away should just about end there season. also even though dawson is just great for us i really am glad to hear fans seeing just how much holness has come on this year without a doubt most inproved player this year in the bag for me with jonah taking best player of the year for his 15 plus goals !!!! excuse me while i continue to drink lots of beer UP THE DALE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
