We are still several strikers short of a full complement; we all know that BZ & AJ will both get injured in the warm up and be out for 6 & 15 weeks respectively.
We have failed to sign Hooper when the pen he was holding was already touching the contract.
We have heard diddly squat about Crouchy. Coming back to his boy hood club is the only real option he should have.
Cesar is still with us as opposed to Arsenal or Roma.
Has the Park deal gone through yet?
Traore hasn't gone yet.
And we just don't have enough strikers to last the full 90 minutes.
SWP still on the payroll as are Granero, Jenas, and Joey B.
Taarabt's situation still hasn't been resolved properly.

So now that we have signed Austin, Remy will be loaned to Newcastle within a matter of days.
The deal will include a buy out option in January, should the pending case be resolved, or next Summer if it needs to wait that long. It is expected that the sale price will be what we originally paid for him.
HOWEVER, my understanding is that Newcastle will NOT pay all of his current wages, but that we will still have to be paying towards them. This is disappointing to say the least and must be as some kind of punishment for nicking him away on the day he was due a medical. | |
