Harry Redknapp Breaking news ssn on 16:44 - Jun 7 with 980 views | johnswiltsqpr | Before our two seasons back in the premiership that is all I wanted but, the last two years have been disgusting (wins against Chels aside). The crap you hear when engaing with the bigger clubs fans and the constant wnk fest for the ''BIG 4''. The dodgey decisions given in favor of the big clubs because the refs are bottleless and don't want to upset the likes of the red nosed, sour faced SAF. That pen for Ashley young still makes me want to smack the shite out of him and i'm not a violent person. But what hurst most of all is the big time charlies who are paid a fortune to play for us, pull on our teams beloved shirt and fart arse about not giving any thought for anyone but themselves. We have been bent over a barrell for far too long now. I guess what i'm trying to say is i'm not too fussed whatever league we are in so long as the players play for the shirt, wear it with pride. Try hard. When you win win together but when you lose bloddywell lose together. Don't snigger once youve just been relegated like the eyebrow did.
Harry Redknapp Breaking news ssn on 16:48 - Jun 7 with 968 views | TGRRRSSS | There is so much to hate about football these days and I think that is the underlying point of this thread or rather how this thread has developed about where we want to be etc. I fear for football and I am starting to hate the soap opera surrounding it both within itself and sometimes on the pitch with all the play acting. The Premier League is not anywhere near being the best in the world, it has some of the best spin in the world and the best advertising geniuses around. It cannot produce it's own players and the majority now being brought in or staying here invariably are not adding to it's value really. I accept to develop QPR indeed even keep up with clubs comparable to ourselves we need a new ground, I just hope its as close to W12 as possible. Neil talked of Soton for example, well the fact is they had to move grounds, and they did so, they've moved on although not painlessley it has to be said to get where they are now, indeed their future still remains a bit uncertain but they have the academy, the training ground, the stadium with possiblity of further improvements. IN short they are a club on the up, which has been built up again in the past 10 years with some highs and lows. Then one can look to Reading, with similar troubles, but have been built and developed down the years with plans for a new academy, training ground etc. If we stay as we are we stagnate, maybe we didn't have the infrastructure to go up when we did, you see we'd stood still, awe'd argued, we'd have chancers and failures, while others were facing up to football in the 21st centry, we had people looking out, not for the club, the "brand" or the development of the club only out for themselves, or they were idiots and lacked vision (Chris Wright in many ways). There are major problems within football generally in this country and you can see this reflected in the continues failures of English football and how only 37% of any PL players can represent England, and within QPR it'#s a microcosm even worse. Dated (but lovable) stadium, lack of facilities and people who simply don't understand football or just didn't care for years. Now in TF I think we have a man who does care and does want to develop a future for us, because whatever happens football won't totally stand still, either here or abroad and if we don't go with it, we'll end up a League 2 middle of the road side, overtaken not only by Fulham (where were they in 1996) and obviously Chelsea but maybe by up and coming Brentford. Reading are now probably ahead of us as a club overall now sadly. As for Harry he isn't long term, but does the club have a idea how to go forward right now???... My concern over this is will TF have learnt the lesson about marketing signings to a market thousands of miles away if it's organic it'll work, forced (like JSP) it won't.
