Seems like a really nice lad to me whenever he's interviewed. But if you can make a judgement from someone's gait you're a better man than me.

I'm in the liability camp for a number of reasons including his fall-outs at Spurs, his fall outs with Morrocco and his fall-outs with Warnock. I'd wager he's also fallen out with MH over not making the squad. In fact as soon as something doesn't go his way he's throwing the toys out of the pram. I've seen him sulking on the pitch, arguing with other rangers players, etc, etc, yawn.

No judgment on his gait altho it's does seem to match the character.

I'm suprised no ones mentioned the twitter rumour that Adel and Traore stropped off home when told they weren't in the team yesterday.

Yes loftboy and to add to the intrigue over on Dot Org there's the added evidence of Gary Doyle The Cat Kitman's pre-match Etihad dressing-room photo of Adel's no.10 kit clearly laid out.

Alright the current Adel QPR supporter Civil War split in opinion might seem all a bit tedious because we've all been over it so many times and our opinions don't change no matter what the evidence BUT also surprised that Clive has bottled it from laying out his sixpennyworth here.
I thought he lived for argument and it's pretty damn hard to get the beating of the intelligent fooker.
Genuinely interested to read where North stands at the mo' on the AT question.

I was replying to and quoting North's now edited post.

My opinion is that Adel showed towards the end of last season that he is capable of playing for the team and tracking back etc, and that on his game he is an important player for us.

Speculation about why he wasn't in the squad is just that, speculation.

Spot on.

Also, for those that say Adel isn't our best player anymore, I disagree.

Currently:

He's still our best player because he's done it.
He was the catalyst for our promotion
He scored or made the goals.
Moments of sheer brilliance
He came good last season too.

All the other players we've signed have achieved nothing for us yet.
I hope they do, but currently nothing - they may have great pedigrees, but let's wait and see - once they achieve, then let's hold them in high regard.

Just my opinion.

"He scored or made the goals"
"He came good last season"

Tell me, what were his stats for goals and assists last season?

Do you actually read posts in full before responding? SoG already gave you an example - Ale Faurlin.

Adapt his game? Go on...can you elaborate?

Er...
Lose weight
Take your defensive duties seriously
Don't try tricks in dangerous areas
Pass the ball when a teammate is in a better position
Keep your cool when things aren't going your or the team's way

And I gave you an example that Taarabt's pass completion was higher than Ali's last season.

This adapt his game phrase is complete cack. He has added work rate to his game. A complete player you say I can only think of Yaya Toure at City and possibly Diaby at Arsenal if he stay's fit. Modric, didn't tackle, VDV didn't tackle in the same way that most defensive midfielders can't beat 4/5 players for skill.

At home Adel has to start when fit and for away games he has to prove his work rate is consistant.

One small point.

Some people are saying Adel should 'work harder', or Adel should 'track back'. It seems so simple. But there is a price for tracking back. If you use up too much energy tracking back, you may not be as effective going forward.

The funny thing is I can remember a lot of people being anti-Les Ferdinand, because he was 'lazy'. But I would much rather Ferdinand conserved his energy and got goals, than 'put in a shift' chasing hopeless balls and didn't score.
