Has anybody else seen the small article on the back of today's Ob? JC talking about looking at 3/4 accy players. One of them missing half of last season after undergoing surgery on his ankle. Is this desperate or are we going to trust JC?

If next season we finish a couple of places above where Accy finished this season, it will have been a good season.

We have to lose the footballing snobbery that our time under Hilcroft let us develop.

ATTRACTING players from Accy, Macc and the like, is where we are now at in the food chain.

This isn't being negative, its just the situation we are in. We need to back JC and if he improves the position year on year as he did at Accy, in a few years we may be knocking on the play off door, but we really are now back to square one.

Everything thats been, has past. The answers in the looking glass!

it depends on the players

accy aren't a great side and neither are we but both sides have good players in them

i have no problem with jc cheery picking players he thinks can do a job

They'll be players proven at the top half of league 2 and will want to play for JC. Whats wrong with that?

There is always a worry that he is going back to his old club to offer better pay to his old favourites. We will have a playing budget twice that of Accy, and we should use it to improve the squad, not just pay more for Div 2 players. If we have any hope of bouncing back we need to get some hungry players in fast - not old favourites. Just hope he knows what he is doing.
