Amazing after two good home performances 6 points and 5 goals our gate drops by 2000 from the Luton game.

Our fans are totally apathetic the worst in the championship.

Ok then, it's absolutely nothing to do with Williams' comments and the utterly disgraceful performance on NYD đź‘Ś

Would certainly made a impact , the naysayers forecasting the weather and a lot of folk back to work , the big impact for me was seeing how empty the south stand and the west stand northern corner were.

I know of several people who didn't get there today due to the earlier kick off.
The low attendance isn't all down to Luke or our football...

,not all down to the Manager but enough to be noticed .

I know of handfuls of people who didn’t go because of Portsmouth, Luke Williams and the kick off time. If anyone thinks his behaviour this week has been positive and hasn’t affected the attendance in some way they need to check what their Mrs is up to when she says she’s somewhere.

Because they are mugging themselves off.

I agree the circus of this week affected the attendance but it wasn't the sole factor...as you say the dismal performance at Portsmouth contributed too...maybe i should have phrased my response a little different.

Well it makes a change from Christmas, dark nights, money being tight
Fact is ,we are bored and boring to watch
It’s that simple

It’s called joy

The concept of staying away because the manager has said something you don’t approve of is bizarre.

That’s not what a fan would do is it. You might not enjoy the style of football and I know for example that some fans didn’t attend as much when Sousa was manager as the defensive minded football was insipid and lacked flair with goalmouth action almost non existent

I think other factors against West Brom would and did influence the attendance as we have highlighted. But can anyone come forward and say that they stayed away SOLELY because of some misguided remarks from our rather inexperienced manager who is otherwise doing a fine job on balance?

Only an idiot would eat a turkey curry on Christmas day

Well his remarks didn't help and the awful Portsmouth performance comes into it too. It's not just one thing.

Myself and my son weren't there because my son chose to play football instead. It was in Pontardawe and KO was 10.30 so getting home, him showering and getting to the Swans would have meant likely missing all of the first half and some of the second.

I'm sure others will have good reasons too. To be honest, I wasn't all that keen to go after Portsmouth, combined with the lies (or alleged lies) I felt a message needed to be sent.

Nobody working for OUR club should be so disrespectful to their employer, its players and supporters.

Consider the disgusting displays of late and the utterances of Williams

When was the last time you went to a game?

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

It make me smile when the people who don't go to matches are the ones complaining about our attendances.

Many others too.
You want those who can’t go to stop posting then .
Fine

BTW, why are so many posters living in Swansea not going . They are still posting
This is getting like attempts to group bully and I ain’t having it

Big difference between can’t go and won’t go.

I only get to about a dozen matches a year so tend not to comment on attendances.

On the other hand, when I see an attendance of 14/15000 and consider how we are doing, I think back to the early 70's, when I started going as a 5 year old and all I remember is hardly anyone being there.

To me a crowd of 14k isn't so bad. It's not like we are giants of football, a Welsh Barcelona.

We're Swansea City, anybody who thinks we should have much bigger attendances is barking up the wrong tree, in my opinion.

Ok so as I suspected, no one stayed away purely as a direct consequence of any remarks that Luke had made.

In regards to attendance, I think that’s reasonable.

Complaining numbers are low when not being there seems odd.

I have sympathy with Felix who travels a long way. IMO opinion he is within his rights to complain about fan numbers.

I only go to about 2/3 home games a season, that's why I never comment on attendance, unlike some others who don't go.

But I go to alot of aways and I've mentioned that I won't be watching us anymore until the charlatan has gone, It's a bit extreme but it's a sacrifice I am prepared to make.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with doing things on principle. What I object to is people criticising others who do what they feel is right for them.

It could be two and a half years. Or more.
