If what you say is right then it's a policy I somewhat agree with because farming is very important and we should be growing that sector, trying to be as self sufficient for food as possible to try and get prices down.
One thing I never agreed with was giving landowners mneyto not grow crops. Oh, and Welsh Labours policy of 10% of famland given over to tree planting. There's plenty f land for trees. Another, spending millions planting trees in other countries, look after ourselves first because we are apparently broke. | | | |

Wales will never elect a tory devolved government and there's the rub, you are dead right.
Hence my opinion that everyone who doesn't vote should vote but for a local independent candidate. Maybe a term without tory or Labour but with people who actually care for their locality will see improvements.
