Looks like some positive developments happening there. Saudi and Iran are trying to bury the hatchet. Saudi inviting Syria to join the Arab league and troops being pulled out of the Yemen. The Yanks trying their best to sabotage it though.

Russia wants oil and other trade. China is always looking for influence in other countries, both countries are every bit as devious and self serving as any UK or USA government.

I wouldn’t be surprised if most of the weapons we flog to Saudi are then being sold to Russia for profit resulting in the ludicrous situation of us arming both sides.

That's what has been happening in the Ukraine. NATO supplied funds are being skimmed off for personal gain, and that's right from the very top

You think our establishment is any different? How do you account for the abnormally high energy prices, and do you think the profits these private companies are making is being invested back into this country?

The abnormally high energy prices are a direct result of Putin's attempt to steal the Ukraine.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I got £75 from BP today for 13 new shares which is in line with recent dividend payments over the last few years. I am hoping for a special dividend. 4% return overall.

Wherever the excessive profits are going it it not to shareholders like me. Same with Shell no special dividend yet at least.

High oil prices are not a bad thing. It dampens the economy make people more conservative and cuts CO2 emissions makes cleaner green energy more viable. (and hopefully gives me a special dividend)

there are hundreds of thousads of UK people benefitting from BP dividends. Maybe even you if you have a pension fund.

If you a have cash you can buy BP and Shell shares yourself in the hope of a special dividend. UK public have been brain washed to believe they cannot benefit from the profits of British and even foreign oil companies. The Saudi oil giant who recently reported mammoth profits is NOT open to people like me or retail shareholders which is typical of Arab money hoarding.

Putin should have nationalised the Oligarchs and sold the shares to the great Russian masses like Mrs Thatcher did. The Superyatchs should have been used for school trips. Now that is good socialism.

The high food prices are also due to the Russians invasion of Ukraine and the blockade of Ukrainian ports for so long. Only after intense pressure from the UN has Russia allowed a partial lifting of the blockade so some wheat csn be exported.

I do have BP shares, but they have cut the dividends significantly in recent years, despite high profits.

Russia released these companies from state control and issued shares in many of them and gave them to the people. What happened then was, they were quickly by many, to buy luxury goods or whatever they needed, then the oligarchs bought them up in large numbers

High oil prices are not as a result of Russia invading the Ukraine, they were increasing prior to this, of course it doesn't help, but Russia has found new markets in the east to counteract our sanctions.

Nah Doc, there's something more going on.

ARAMCO made larger profits through covid and increased their profit last year by 45% up to 161 billion.

The high oil prices are just as much because of lies and manipulation by oil companies and governments as the Ukraine situation. The oilmen are usingthe situation to top up their income, we are being fleeced

What blockade? there is loads being exported. Hungary and Poland have had to stop cheap imports from the Ukraine as it was undermining their own farmers. The was loads going out via Romanian sea ports too.

Once again, you have followed the media propaganda and taken the card the conjurer has given you.
