The Tale of Horton Mouse 10:44 - Mar 24 with 2900 viewsHorton_Mouse

Now Horton is no ordinary mouse,
You see, he doesn’t really care what he takes from your house,
He’s not happy with scraps or bits of old cheese,
He'll take everything you own and leave you on your knees.

He sneaks into your life through dark vulnerable places,
Hides in the shadows behind well known faces,
And then when he has his feet under your table,
He takes even more than you are financially able.

He doesn’t care about you or your house,
He's Horton, the scheming bald-headed mouse.
So watch out because he bites the hand that feeds
He has to, somehow, quench that insatiable greed.

He’s dresses well and loves beautiful cars
Bought with money he hasn’t saved up in old jars
He’ll look for cash in every department
then grab himself some swanky apartment

Then when Horton’s belly is swollen
He take off with the things he’s acquired and stolen,
Go on the lookout for pastures new,
There’s plenty more gullible persons to screw.

But sometimes in life you meet more than your match
and things don’t go right for the plans that you hatch
You bump into a group of ‘nancy boys’
Who don’t come quietly, they make lots of noise.

They discover the facts and out the truth
They don’t want Horton under their roof.
There’s no scraps here or bits of old cheese,
So be on your way with your group of fleas.

This is Rochdale, we are The Dale.
This is our club and it’s not for sale!
So little mouse and the other three
Take note, we are, and always will be Pest-Free!

Bravo!

Reports this morning suggest "Horton, the scheming bald-headed mouse" has spent a few hours talking to himself with his various user names on Twitter. Horton is not well, mentally.

Horton should try and be a decent person like the rest of us instead of a scheming
mercenary.

Brilliant article about the Horton mouse. If I were him I wouldn't want to be taking on us fans. Carry on the great work that you are doing on behalf of everyone involved with Dale.

Horton's eyes are far too close together to be trustworthy.

Let’s not forget that Horton was within a whisker of successfully implementing his plan.

Hmm... you're not wrong, but implementing his plan and it turning out 'successfully' for him aren't perhaps the same thing...

Don't forget, the EFL have issued charges for breaches of their rules regarding ownership of clubs. Whilst i have about as much faith in the EFL as i do Steve Eyre's football management skills, it would've been far from the end of story they think it would've been, once we got our teeth into it

Edit: brilliant OP!

I think with mice you are supposed to put traps down or get the pest controller in.

Interestingly scientists are growing human hair onto mice to transplant onto bald people:

But some hair losses are beyond the power of science.

George Bernard Shaw had it right: "He who can does; he who cannot, teaches." https://www.visittheusa.co.uk/
