I know there are currently 3 other teams without a win but I wonder what percentage of teams that fail to win any of their opening 8 games manage top stay up? It's quite a mountain to climb after that. You can only go so long without winning before it becomes too high a mountain to climb.
So, yes, I'd say a win today is crucial
How many PL seasons before have we been winless in our opening 8 games? I've just checked. The only time was 1998-9, when we finished 17th, so there is hope.

Good first half. We are not pissing around with the ball so much at the back and getting into good positions a lot earlier.
Salisu looks solid and Broja looks a real handful. Should have got a penalty, and wouldn't be surprised to see one in 2nd half, as they just cant mark him without pulling his shirt. | | | |
