Match Thread: Portsmouth vs Rochdale on 22:48 - Apr 1 with 5825 views | D_Dale | John Marquis, Pompey's leading scorer (14 goals in 34 league appearances) has had his appeal against last Saturday's red card rejected. Any news on whether Dale's leading scorers (Lund with 11 goals in 28 appearances and Humphrys with 10 in 25) might feature tomorrow? At home this season Portsmouth have won 7 league matches and scored 25 goals; away, Dale have won 6 matches and scored 26 goals. Not all that big a gap between the two sides ... ?

Looks like the most likely player back of those will be Mclaughlin. I reckon if that is the case it will be a similar team to last time but with Keohane on the left Mclaughlin on the right and Done and Beesley up top.

Tend to agree. I think that McLaughlin and (as an outside possibility) Humphrys may start on the bench. So that would give a team of the usual back three, Jimmy K and Matty Done as wing backs, Rathbone, Shaughnessy and Morley (slightly prefer him to Grant) in the middle and Newby supporting Beesley up top. Bench would be Lynch, McLaughlin, Roberts, Grant, Dooley, Baah and either Humphrys or Hopper. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

An important moment in a game being missed due to the ineffable stupidity of those non-essential replays was as inevitable as Dale conceding early at Portsmouth

Match Thread: Portsmouth vs Rochdale on 15:13 - Apr 2 with 4811 views | richfoad32 | The one complaint I would have about ifollow is their insistence on showing replays of even the most innocuous passages of play whilst the game is in progress.

Match Thread: Portsmouth vs Rochdale on 15:23 - Apr 2 with 4622 views | SaxonDale | Terrible decision to go to replay for such an obvious decision during in-game play. Sounds like a Bazunu mistake. Think we’ve been really aggressive with how we’ve set up but are being let down by individuals. Beesley has had a mare for the first 20 minutes and Rathbone was very fortunate not to give away a goal.

Match Thread: Portsmouth vs Rochdale on 15:52 - Apr 2 with 4087 views | Cedar_Room | Thought it was fairly open and at 0-1 we were still very much in it but think something big will need to happen now to get anything out of this game. But we’ve had a decent break so there can’t be any excuses about being tired. They need to bust a gut and come out fighting in this second half. If this isn’t a game to fight to get something then I don’t know what is. Losing again can’t be an option.
