Yes I met him once when we both went to the Swindon Supermarine FA Cup 2nd Round game on 28th November 2010. Hard to believe it was such a long time ago. Got on okay with him that day, but he goes down as the only one to ever give me abuse on this or any other website. |  |

When living in the US drove nearly 4 hours from Minneapolis to Des Moine in darkest Iowa to meet with "Iowa Pete" (as he was initially known) at a restaurant for a meal and chat about the U's. Arrived at restuarant to receive a message left for me to say he wasn't coming!!!

We’d arranged to meet at a South Coast match, but he didn’t show. I’d given Pete my number to assist with that meet, but he used it a few years later to call me very late on a Sunday evening to make various threats.
He was a troubled man, but honestly on far too many occasions not actually a very nice man. |  |
