Let’s nip this in the bud. He was a great manager last week.

**Coventry Match Thread** on 21:46 - Sep 18 by Hunterhoop | We had one. We paid him to leave. He’s even just grabbed a fan by the neck. Yes he’s slow, but we’d concede fewer goals from corners. Watching that again, Barbet was soft as sh*t. Tiny shove moves him and he gives up on the ball, and appeals for a free kick. DEFEND THE CORNER, YOU SOFT TART. |
I rated Leistner, we miss him. fck, I'd take a Damian Stewart right now

Disagree, I thought he looked very committed, strong on the ball, took on his man when he could, created chances, won a penalty. Again, he did his job (as did Dykes). Very few others did theirs.

Did you watch the last match? Not going to blame Lumley mate, what’s he going to do if Coventry centre backs are having target practice at him from 6 yards out

he is a decent manager but in the end even he must realise that there is something wrong and the buck stops at him OK we have no money.... we only have mediocre players.... but you can organise mediocrity into competitive. Teams will beat us on talent and more money.... but those teams are not Coventry. If we were organised we could have got a 0-0 tonight or sneaked it We need to be aiming for 0 and once we master that we can look at being more expansive.... losing all the time is just soul destroying

Two games in. And after everyone has played two that won’t be true. Don’t post boll*cks. If we defend like that in more games we won’t be winning many. Today was back to square one defensively.

**Coventry Match Thread** on 21:34 - Sep 18 by joolsyp | Positives: BOS back to his unplayable best. Dykes immense on his own. Smyth when he came on. Negatives: Everything about our defending includin defensive midfield not doing their job of protecting the defence and Warbs/coaching inability time and time again to address this problem. |
BOS was what? Many adjectives come to mind, unplayable is not on my list. There are no positives tonight people, so stop searching. Kakay, new deal, well done - money spunked on a kid we all knew was shite 12 months ago, but it's OK - he got dreds, we love that. Wallace - seriously? who /what the fcuk is it? I do not know, but he is not required. Lemon. Amos / Chair / BOS - is not an axis of fear, it's a dwarf love in that will see us in the bottom 6 for the next 40 games. I like the Aussie / Scottish penalty technique though. Nearly a positive, But not quite.

Fine fck him off then scratch your head when we go through the trauma of another overhaul. No one can stick up for that defending but allude to sacking the manager? Moronic.

**Coventry Match Thread** on 21:43 - Sep 18 by Hunterhoop | We desperately need a new coach in to be tasked with sorting out the defence. Clearly none of the current group can do it. It’ll be worth more points than any signing will. Dickie can defend corners. He’s defender a lot in his career. As has Barbet and Wallace. And Cameron. There is experience there. It must be how we’re set up at corners and an attitude issue. |
Didn't John Eustace do that pretty well under Mclaren? Is he still doing it? If not, why not and who is?

Nobody is throwing anyone anywhere but as already said defensively we are poor, defensively we have been poor for way too long. Warburton has been Manager for an long time and he has not addressed the situation and he is not, I repeat not above criticism.

**Coventry Match Thread** on 22:02 - Sep 18 with 1369 views | EmpireStateRanger | The girlfriend walked in when it was 2-2 and asked how they were doing. I told her we’re lucky to be tied but if we give them another corner kick (after two straight chances off of corners) they’re going to score. Warbs’ stubbornness seemed to be his undoing at his previous stops. I really hope he learned from those lessons, because he really needs to address this issue, and address it fast. It’s a nice sentiment, but we’ve always been competitive and we’re not always losing.
