Interesting that BBM went with both Baah and then Tavares before Pyke today! Andrew was also preferred to Alby but I'm guessing that was more to do with defensive duties.
Possibly because many on here will get their wishes for Pyke come true in January...
The win should not gloss over an abjectly inept 2 minutes by the ref.
A clear as day second yellow not given for an awful foul, that was bad enough. He then proceeded to coach John Coleman and advise him to take the lad off.
He got the one key decision wrong.
On the game, Accy shooting was poor, we rarely looked threatened which is a rarity this season.
Hendo, Mcshane, Dooley, Rathbone etc - we have the semblance of a first time starting to show again.
Thought the defence played well, but no outball due to lack of movement, and Sanchez’s atrocious distribution. The ref was good apart from bottling the sending off. We seemed to grow in confidence as the game went on. A good win
O’Connell, McShane and Ryan were superb today. A solid triangle that held and stopped everything. Ryan looks much fitter too and can see a game through although he went missing halfway through the second half to get his second wind. Baah could be a revelation. His twisting and turning while running at defenders leaves them in his wake. Camps better up front alongside Hendo. All in all a very good day. BBM take a bow.
I was saying to my mate at the game, the decision to not send their number 16 Ben Barclay off is up there as one of the worst, if not THE worst decisions I've seen at a live football match.
The 2nd foul was dreadful, right through the back of Rathbone. The ref completely bottled it.
On a side note, Jimmy Ryan was excellent again today. He seems to be growing with confidence every match now, great to see.

I watched a different game to you if you thought the ref was "good", he was fooking atrocious first half and could easily have cost us the game with his bottle job decision making, the persistent fouls off the ball on O'Connell and the not even disguised head locks from literally every single set piece into their area was special.

Pike doesn't hold a candle to Baah on today's showing. And it's been said but he's going to be some player for the future. Every player did great today and I felt we were in control of the game. A vast improvement on the Gillingham game. Well done to the team today.
' I started out with nothing and i still got most of it left'
Very nice to see a player willing to run at their full back,it wont always come off but well done Baah on a top performance for someone so young, quality and great energy to keep showing for the ball too... keep it up
