Week 12 Results WATFORD 0 BOURNEMOUTH 0 Watford have become the first team to fail to win any of their opening 10 games in a Premier League season on two occasions, with the Hornets also doing so in 2006-07. They are also winless in their last nine home league games. Well done to Tropical_Us for being the only one to get this spot-on, and 5 had the outcome. HUDDERSFIELD 2 BARNSLEY 1 Huddersfield take their unbeaten run to six after this latest win, as the Cowley's continue to turn their fortunes around. A decent 6 had this spot-on, and a further 14 got the outcome, with 11 going for a 1-0 in what was the weeks most predicted score. BURTON 0 BLACKPOOL 0 Ten-man Blackpool secured a hard-earned point from a closely-fought goalless draw. Well done to MattFlat for being the only one to get this spot-on, and another 8 had the outcome. LINCOLN v BOLTON Match postponed - Waterlogged pitch FOREST GREEN v CREWE Match postponed - Waterlogged pitch WALSALL 1 MANSFIELD 2 Mansfield's Andy Cook and Mal Benning returned to haunt their former club as they helped inflict a fifth successive league defeat on Walsall. A good 5 had this spot-on, and 5 also got the outcome. With two fixtures being lost to the weather, and another two ending in bore draws, points were always going to be hard to come by this week. So we are grateful for the other two games producing 2-1 wins for Huddersfield and Mansfield. In the latter's case it was only the second 2-1 away win we have had this season, following hot on the heels of Oxford getting the first one last week. That popular prediction for an away win has always achieved at least 20 for the last five seasons, so plenty of catching up to do if that figure is going to be reached this season. In the end we had a respectable 13 spot-ons, but only one member managed to get two. That was thrillseeker who had both of those 2-1 wins, and he is the weeks top scorer with a decent 6 points. Best of those who had one 3 pointer was eagledares, who had the Huddersfield 2-1 spot-on, and Colukev, who had the Mansfield 2-1 spot-on. They both had two outcomes to give them a very good 5 points. Week 13 will now be a 12 game week to make up for the two postponed games this week. Happy Cup The draw has been made for the Group stage, and the first round of fixtures are ready for predicting. All the details can be found on the separate Happy Cup thread. Champions League It is nine weeks to go now before we know who the twelve qualifiers are for this seasons competition. Winner for last two seasons BFG has automatically qualified, with the other eleven places going to the highest point scorers over the two divisions after Week 21. That eleventh spot is currently being held by Lewis_1 with his 54 points. In the Premier The top two both had the Huddersfield 2-1 spot-on, but Sector4 also got an outcome to reduce the noah4x4 lead by a point for the second week running. The final Charity Shield spot is still held by RSCOSWORTH, but only by the most 3 pointer rule. The top scoring performance from thrillseeker moved him up a place, as did the good effort from eagledares. The bottom four remain unchanged for the fourth week in a row, though Colukev continues to edge a bit nearer to safety after his slow start to the season. In Division One Going 1-0 all games gave Daniel only the one outcome this week, but it was enough to increase his lead by that one point, as Blue4U2 failed to trouble the scorers, but still held onto the other automatic spot. The four play-off places remain the same as last week, but ghughes11, concordman and Lewis_1 all move up a place at the expense of BFG, who also fired a blank this week. Having the Huddesfield 2-1 spot-on helped blueeagle to close out the 4 point gap he was from the play-offs last week. It is only the first to post rule that keeps out of one of those places now. The only other change in this league has burnsieespana moving up a place, as he takes advantage of unitedwhites having a third blank out of the last four weeks. Out of form he maybe, but he was in a similar position last season, then he had an incredible second-half of the season, and ended up in a play-off spot.
