Week 11 Results LEICESTER 2 BURNLEY 1 Leicester have won four consecutive home Premier League matches for the first time since winning five in a row in May 2017. A massive 9 got this spot-on, and a further 17 had the outcome. WOLVES 1 SOUTHAMPTON 1 Raul Jimenez scored at the third time of asking after two disallowed first-half goals to cancel out Danny Ings' opener and earn Wolves a point. Everybody predicted a win for Wolves, so no points for anybody from this game. CHARLTON 3 DERBY 0 Ex-U's Macauley Bonne makes it three goals in four games with the opener in this comfortable victory for Charlton. Well done to noah4x4 for being the only one to get this spot-on, and 14 had the outcome. LEEDS 1 BIRMINGHAM 0 Kalvin Phillips' strike lifted Leeds to second in the Championship table as the club marked their centenary with a victory. 7 had this spot-on, and another 13 got the outcome. READING 1 PRESTON 0 Matthew Miazga scored in the eighth minute of stoppage time to give Mark Bowen a winning start as Reading manager. That late goal was good news for the 4 who got this spot-on, and the 1 who had the outcome. 21 predicted a win for Preston. DONCASTER 2 BRISTOL ROVERS 0 Doncaster ended a four-game winless run and halted Bristol Rovers hot streak. 16 got the outcome, but nobody had it spot-on. A missed Bristol Rovers penalty foiled the 11 who had Doncaster to win 2-1. ROTHERHAM 1 OXFORD UNITED 2 Oxford United made it seven League One games unbeaten with this win. Only 2 got this spot-on, and 2 also had the outcome. 18 predicted a win for Rotherham. BRADFORD CITY 2 CRAWLEY 1 Bradford City moved into second place in League Two as they got a third successive home win. 6 had this spot-on, and a further 20 got the outcome. NEWPORT 2 SCUNTHORPE 1 Newport remain undefeated at home after this win, and Scunthorpe are still looking for their first away point. 6 got this spot-on, and another 19 had the outcome. NORTHAMPTON 2 SALFORD 0 Northampton ended their four-game winless run with this victory. Well done to Sector4 for being the only one to have this spot-on, and 16 got the outcome. PLYMOUTH 2 CARLISLE 0 U's summer target Joel Grant netted his third goal in three games, as Plymouth took their unbeaten run to four. Carlisle have now lost their past three league games. 5 got this spot-on, and a further 19 had the outcome with 12 going for a 2-1 in what was the weeks most predicted score. Wow! What an incredible week this was. The fixtures looked heavily in favour of the home teams - except Reading - and they were all well supported. With only Wolves and Rotherham failing to read the script, we had a real fill your boots week. The 200 points total for any week is rarely breached, so the 266 this week could well be a Happy League record. The total 41 spot-ons, though not a record, was still very commendable. There were three members who did well to have three 3 pointers, they were Blue4U2 who had the wins for Leicester, Reading and Oxford, with five outcomes he is the weeks top scorer with a brilliant 14 points. Also RSCOSWORTH who had the 2-1 wins for Leicester, Bradford City and Newport, and Sector4 who had the wins for Leeds and Bradford City to go with his good Northampton 2-0 pick. They both had four outcomes to give them an excellent 13 points. That total was also achieved by Daniel who made a good decision to go 1-0 all games. A tremendous week all round with eleven members getting double figure scores, and everybody getting at least 7 points. In the Premier Back to back titles continue to be a distinct possibility for noah4x4, as he gets an impressive 12 points, that included having the Leeds 1-0 spot-on to go with his good Charlton 3-0 pick. Though his lead was cut by a point after the excellent effort from Sector4. Getting nine outcomes was not enough for mfb_cufc to hold onto the final Charity Shield spot, as RSCOSWORTH regains that place with his excellent performance. Two spot-ons, the 2-1 wins for Bradford City and Newport keeps sevebalo in contention for the top three, and two spot-ons, the wins for Leicester and Plymouth, helped to move thrillseeker up a couple of places. In Division One Another excellent week for Daniel maintains his two point lead, but it is now Blue4U2 who has regained the other automatic spot after his superb week. Up into third is BFG, thanks to having the 2-1 wins for Oxford and Bradford City spot-on. Solid efforts from ghughes11, Lewis_1 and concordman allow them to hold onto the other play-off spots. Having the wins for Leicester and Plymouth spot-on moved wessex_exile closer to those places. Season best scores for durham_exile and oxfcolu gave them a welcome boost, with the latter having the wins for Reading and Newport spot-on. The final member to have two spot-ons this week was Pinault_Noir, the 1-0 wins for Leeds and Reading. After failing to show for the fourth week running I have no option but to expel brightspurs from all Happy competitions. Happy Cup The draw for the Happy Cup groups will be taking place shortly, and all the details for this competition will be on a separate thread after the FA Cup 1st Round draw on Monday.
