I just tuned into this thread again and was about about post 'just watch Sod's Law come into play'. That was either a brilliant flick or lucky as eff. Hope Newport can hang on for their big pay day but I doubt it now.

Glad I was wrong. A brilliant performance against a strong Spurs side. That is probably better for them than winning. They now have a trip to Wembley and I bloody big pay day to boot :-)

That is a very fair comparison. Comparing the two sides, our game was tougher. I hope Jenkins does not see it that way or we will not even get our usual panic buy at the end if the Window :-)

I thought Wilmott was very good as well. But for me the most impressive thing was their Long Throw Ins, they were almost as good as Corners. I wish we had that ability.

Loved our days at Wembley the 4 times we've been there the twice at the Millennium were great to.

Long throws are better than corners, they're much more accurate. Well worth bringing in a player who can do it and training it to death.
