What, like you ensured future generations have a vibrant Wales by fecking off and leaving it. Your contempt for Wales makes me sick, you should feel ashamed or yourself but, of course, that will never happen.

Could not agree more Rog. Hates wales. Hates Scotland. Hates Ireland. Its sad. I have never met anybody with more contempt for his own nation. He probably does not think wales is a nation. He really is that thick. Not sure who said that 'its better to die on your feet, rather than live on your knees' - but it was clearly not Perch. Mind you all his type are all old now, and young welsh people are thankfully proud of wales.

You and your ilk are obviously confused. Brexit is about who we want to govern us, how we wish to be governed and whether that system is democratic or not. As a Welsh citizen of the UK you are democratically represented and have a devolved government. You are even subsidised. Being in the UK gives us advantages and makes sense, we share a language, a culture and a preferred system of government with our neighbours in the UK. We truly are stronger together. Plaid wants to leave this union to be an "independent" country, yet are wedded to the idea of being part of the European Union. This means; - Joining the Euro (and thus surrendering monetary policy) - The imposition of stinging budget cuts in order to meet this requirement...our deficit as an Independent Wales would be somewhere between 20-35% (see f-u-c-k-i-n-g Greece) - Our law submitting to European law (laws, rules and regulations being set in Brussels...Germany...where we would be one voice among 28+ rather than one in 4) - Our agricultural sector in effect being governed by Brussels (Germany) - Our Fishing policy being dictated by Brussels - Our trade deals being negotiated on our behalf by Brussels (Germany) - Any military we choose to have being subsumed by a European Army (So our young men will be sent to war at the behest of the Germans and the French rather than to defend British interests) - Tariffs and trade barriers introduced between us and the UK - Any jobs created in our economy will be up for grabs across Europe. Our young people will have to compete for these jobs with the youth of Eastern and Southern Europe, who have a big advantage in that they in the main speak English and can make that move...Is the Slovenian or Belgian or Finnish job market as easily accessible to Welsh youngsters? etc. etc. You see, it just doesn't make any sense...your keenness to leave a union which makes sense in order that we should join a union that doesn't make any sense comes down to one thing, your bitterness/jealousy/hatred of the English and that is sad.

Leanne on QT on 14:17 - May 17 with 499 views | rock1n | There's no question Welsh Nationalism boils down to anti English sentiment. Where I disagree is your notion being anti EU is all about democracy, it's anti foreigner sentiment on the whole. If the EU vote had been about democracy remain would have romped home, it was a referendum on immigration and we know how that is going to end
