For me, being a Penlan boy, it's got to be McLeod starring Dennis Weaver ! That mofo didn't give a flying fùck! You might think I've forgotten, but one day, when you least expect it, my time will come.
After 20 years on air, and only getting better, South Park deserves consideration.
I didn't even like cartoons as a kid, but that changed everything. And when they started to get topical in late 2000 (Bush vs Gore election), they made sure the show would never get stale.
But if you want old school, I'm partial to Barney Miller.
Seasons 2 - 7 of the Simpsons . Haven't been able to bring myself to watch it since season 11. Tragic fall from grace, but the early ones were almost perfect.
