The one thing I do totally agree with T F on is our Board appear to be nice people. That does not make them right or good owners or even a good Chairman but it does help. There are some real nasty bastards who are Owners of football clubs and I personally could not support a team owned by Red Roman. It always makes me laugh when Karen Brady gobs off about her Fantastic owners - made their money out of pornography and sex.

I have said before I do not dislike TF but I do wish he would keep his council more and stop using twitter to communicate with us fans. All I hope is that he says he is going to shut up, take a more back seat, accept CR is not the manager for us and use next season to get shot of all the dead wood and employ a manger who is able to rebuild a squad of players who are hungry for success.

We as fans should have our opinions on all aspects of the team we all love but personally I just want to leave all the money problems to the Board and entrust them to do their job and let us fans enjoy watching and support our team.

Now there's a useful find.

i wonder if Bardsley would be right for a CEO position? Would an academy director have the right 'skill set'?

No, nor Ferdinand for that matter. A CEO is nothing like a director of football. It's someone who runs the business. Having a "football man" is less important than having someone who knows how a balance sheet works, who understands management and how knows how to deal with unrealistic expectation from above.

At Arsenal, Ivan Gazidis was a lawyer before moving into sports admin with MLS. Peter Kenyon was an executive at Umbro before moving to Man United (Edward Woodward, there now, was an accountant). Ron Gourlay was another Umbro executive. Ian Ayre worked in telecommunications. At Southampton, Gareth Rogers used to work for Deloitte. And so on. They need to know how to run a business, not spot a right back in the lower divisions.

So lets decipher the Great Prophet Tony`s wise words...

Some announcements on Tuesday - Why wait 24hrs when you can have everyone hanging on your every word? He has form of course with these announcements as we know, there was the training ground, the stadium & the dream manager.

There is little debt, its all shareholders loans - Loans are debt whatever way you try and disguise them. The debt is due to wages exceeding income, the new stadium outlay would have been minimal so far, no land purchase. If journalists are making stuff up why have you not put them right publicly?, that's what all other clubs do.

Good people in the club now - does that refer to Phil Beard? or the last regime of 4 years ago who had 1 promotion and 0 relegations? More cryptic rubbish.

Learnt about players / managers - assume that's a dig at previous managers and signings appointed by Fernandes, blaming everyone else as usual.

3 out of 4 seasons in the Premier League - is the same as 2 relegations and 1 promotion, depends how you spin it. Lets not forget Fernandes purchased a premier league club.

Not over till its over - yes it is you moron, that's as insulting as last weeks "supremely confident" messages, writing on the wall since the WHU game, stop insulting peoples intelligence.

Lots to look forward too - Namely a FFP fine and championship football and a fire sale of all the best players

Not perfect, made mistakes - Something we can agree on

We care - What owners don't?? Its a business and asset, you care far more about Air Asia that's for sure.

Thanks Tony, cant wait till tomorrow. Any chance of a retweet if I send you a photo of my cat in a QPR shirt?

Personally, i continue to like Tony very much. I blame him for very little and he has my full support and will continue to do so as long as he stays.

My opinion and i'm perfectly entitled to it.

Personally I hope Mittal buys him and his buddies out.

Tomorrow the only tweet I want to see from our Tone is :- "I have told R'SWiPe to join his brother in the States."

Or else get a job as a bin man. (That's an insult to bin men if he applies - at least Bin Men do a 15 hour week.)

Why does it feel like R'SWiPe is still on the books? Yer Couldn't Make It Up.Well Done Me!

agree 100% - all those TF haters should get down to bloomfield road and then they can have a field day.TF has tried to compete in the Premier League but we are so far short with a 18000 stadium . It is no co-incidence that 2 out 3 of the promoted teams are going to be relegated- the financial fair play rules will always keep the big teams rich and the small teams small.
SWP, Taraabt etc. are all gone next year hopefully and we will have a clearout and play some youngsters. Disappointed with Ramsey cos he gave up on the kids - esp. Furlong after 1 bad game - that sets a poor example - then he plays the HR way - 4 center backs when he has Isla and Yun available. Yes - we only lost by 1 goal at Liverpool but we had to win. Same vs West Ham.
I think the tide will have turned when we beat teams like MK Dons and Burton in the League cup
Anyway, minimum 23 home games next season - cant wait!!

New announcement.
Someone is taking his phone away from him so that he can concentrate on business rather than bleating on about what he is going to do.
Just do it and tell us after.
Amateur chairman behaviour.

This club has barely ever run at a profit not in the last 20 years. Shareholders loans are a more tax efficient way to invest. There are loans and there are loans a loan with a charge on it or a preference of payment or one with monthly repayments is one thing, a way of pumping money in is another, yes it also allows for a vehicle to get money out again on exit but the truth is that is what most businesses do if the owners want to put money into it. Thats not to say things are being run well, but we've been chasing our tails since the bid to stay up in 2012

unless the announcement is a 10 point deduction for Hull, Villa and Newcastle I'm not sure it's going to make me feel any better.

I've never been a fan of this kind of teasing i know something you don't know announcement, just say it or shut up.

My first reaction to the possibility of this was to check their fixtures to see if they could catch us up anyway.

I've said it before and I'll say it again we are bloody lucky to have the shareholders at the club - Coventry, Sheff Wed, Sheff Utd, Charlton, Leeds, Blackpool, Portsmouth etc etc would welcome them with open arms.

For those who want Tony to go I have yet to hear a viable replacement suggested.

Ah this old strawman.

Niall Quinn. There's only about 1 in 100 fans that actually want Tony gone and they don't understand what a chairman is. Most fans seem to be in agreement that we need an actual chairman such as the aforementioned Niall Quinn.
